is the level of lag on the bestiary an accurate indication of how badly you'd lag when runescape transitions to html5/rs3? Because even with shadows off I'm seeing a substantial drop in performance on the bestiary compared to the current game.

how will you guys keep the java version cope with the features of html5 such as increased distance between any 2 points?

Hi I found a bug in the beta and want to report it. When I click on your link it leads me to a section where I need to choose a catagory for my bug. Is there any specific catagory for me to go with bugs from this beta?

ok did the mini quest and got the new and improved balmung...calculated things and god swords are still better in accuracy and damage ouch useless content but i dunno maybe if this weapon had gotten a temporary boost when its at the daganoths then it might be worth it but with my first look at stats its kind of useless 10 times easier to get a god sword.o well we can still look at its cosmetic glory.would had been nice if it was at least on par with the god swords but o well.(i can understand how it is not and that's because its a level 65 weapon.its also a far cheaper than a god sword.)we still have 2400 total worlds i look at that as the bright side of this update i liked the little hidden mini quest kind of fun.

Why is Jagex trying to force us to use spyware? The biggest culprit amongst all browsers for tracking your activity and 'phoning home' is Chrome. How do you think Google make their millions? It's by selling product (ie, you) profiles to the scum of the advertising industry.

HTML5 is a new thing for which there is NO defined standard yet so all the developers are creating their own flavour. Until it is standardised and uniform across all platforms, it's foolish to use it as a developement platform.

Looks good. The shadow toggle really plays a major part though, it dragged down my FPS quite a lot when it was activated. It is also a shame that it only works on Chrome for now and not on the most popular tablets, but that was only to be expected for the beta.

For those having the local storage issue can you confirm that you do not see the yellow bar along the top of your browser window asking you to allow the use of local storage?

We are looking into what could be causing this at the moment
