I disagree with needing a key just to play. An optional one for extra account security I don't mind but a key just to play? Nty.

I understand the pain that it is, but software alone will not keep bots away. I have 23 years of experience with both digital systems and security. Software alone will not work.

A branch of this idea would be to *ragment the servers and have key protected worlds. Those having the key would access those worlds with the expectation of far fewer bots and those without can continue to log in as normal to normal servers.

Great job!!!

Kidding of course. While you guys are patting yourselves on the back, thousands more bots are taking their place. Not to mention, 20k isn't much at all.

But great job. You are doing SOOOO good.

Oh I know software along won't keep the bots away. However it's like drm where it hurts more legit consumers than it hurts pirates.

I don't think it's a bad idea I just feel like it'd be more of an inconvenience and possibly discourage new players.

You're asking everyone to pay.

Even the undeserving F2Pers shouldn't have to pay just to play F2P

How about this, more Capatchas (or however you spell it)

More account MAKING security.

Make something so strong, you'd have to hack to bot.
