I have Windows 8 installed, and the latest version of Java. But when I try to load the client, I get the popular message: "Error. Click for details." I click it, and click Details, and it says the following:

I don't understand why everyone won't vote for oldschool runescape. I mean jagex even said it wont effect the main games progress...so why not vote for something that will make other happy.But also keep you happy as well.

but not everyone has the time for the crap some people started this game when they were younger and now are getting older and have more responsibilities n life and cant spend the time leveling up and meeting people. Im not gonna go back to being dependent on rs again I have a life just like I had a rs acc you cant just erase what some truley worked hard for think how they would feel.

Dear JAGEX,

I happy to say that the new servers are what I have been waiting for. However as it turns out most of the people that would be delighted at their return know nothing about it; or they do but don't want to upgrade their accounts to members again and find that weren't as many votes as they wanted. I ask that you extend the voting period by one month and allow non-members accounts that had previously been members at one point in time to vote. Also start advertising more widely and asking currently players to advertise themselves so that you can see how many people really want to the old runescape back.
