How do I access the old runescape using the runescape client? Everytime I log on I go straight into a EOC world. I want to play old school but on the client, as it is the only way runescape will work for me.

Simple fact is there are plenty of "wrongs" that could be set right. Imo, at least they are trying something here. I too doubt i will play 07 much, but for those who choose to do so more power to them.

It is just amazing to me that so many people who dont want to play 07 are bitching about it.

Leveling up takes me too long, not enjoying it. Why not let us play our current account on the server? Just the levels or something, not enjoying it myself but still Jagex, good job

I dont understand... Why they just didnt gave oldschool 2007 rs back with rights to bring old accs back with their old stats? Now I have to start all over again.. arghhhhhhh

I probably shouldn't post this, but if you have a version 1 copy of the Runescape client and it will still run on your system, you can use it to get to the old school Runescape. I have a copy that works on Windows/XP, I don't know if it would run on later versions of Windows.

The version 1 client will open a window that will allow you to access the Community and Forums. From there you can click on the link that takes you to the Old School main menu. I don't know if Jagex still has a backup copy of the version 1 client, but if they do perhaps they can make it available as a separate download.

Very funny ppl complaining about how long it takes to lvl. They don't get it do they? The old game was about having fun, making friends and not just getting exp. In EOC with all the spins and free exp, my grandson (age 5) could max in a week.
