@MY DRAGULA, relax your giving this other version WAY to much credit, will be as dead as a doornail in a couple weeks to months, this is exactly like it was when classic came out, there is a very small minority that will stick with these new server, dead content before it starts but as titan says got to love the marketing scheme :D

Brad, I'm sorry to see you're so clearly dead against this additional service (even though we've explicitly stated that it won't impact development of the main game). But really, there's kinda no need to keep posting so negatively on his thread about it. If you're not a fan, it's best to leave this forum to the folks who are. ;) The whole rest of the forums are there for you to express your love of the modern game, so why not start some positive conversations about what you're looking forward to on them, instead? :)

@Mod Dreblin, are you saying the last 5 days everything that has been stated, all the news posts, all the work "tirelessly" as you guys have said to get this up hasn't used any development time on the REAL game....funny.

First off, TY Jagex for dong this. It shows that you at least listened to the people that have not liked the changes that have happened in recent years.

Now, just a few comments.

"Omg it lags so bad!" - duh? If you are surprised by this you are probably surprised when the sun come up every morning. It will get better, give them a chance.

"We need a client download" - pretty sure they have said it would be rough around the edges and that, if the support is there, those things would come. Relax and take a breath.

And now to those of you ranting about how bad this whole idea is:

DEAL WITH IT. There have been many changes that people have not liked... And this will quiet those voices. Let them have their game. Personally I don't see myself giving up 10+ years of on and off playing to start over in 07, but if people want to then they should have that choice.

As far as the trolls go... Haters will hate. If your clan folds or you cant do an activity you wqnt because you "can't find someone to do it with", then perhaps you should grow a personality, make some new friends, and move on?
