If current members only are voting "yes" and Jagex doesn't need new members to fund it (as must be the case if 500,000 current members do vote "yes&quot ;) , then there should be no need to charge regardless of the level of interest.

I am sorry, but I believe this to be just another (slightly underhanded) way to get more revenue in. I hope I am wrong. It won't affect me because I will not pay any more than I am currently paying - which may mean I will not be using the 2007 servers after the initial month.

Thanks again for at least attempting to answer - no need to respond again though. I appreciate you must be very busy!

good job on ruining eoc runescape
you have managed to take a number of players and put them in
some old junk format gameplay. taking that many out of your new game
is basically like splitting runescape in two.
so half the clans will die, no more teams in the d & d, etc.
you are going to kill this entire game.
good job.
so i can finally say im done with runescape.

Just a quick update for the folks trying to play on a Mac who can't type in their login details - I've been informed by our tech guys that it's actually an issue with the Mac OS itself not working so well with the way Old School RS works with the present version of Java. It's not something we can fix our end, but I believe one of our tech guys will be along shortly to post a better explanation. :)

@MY DRAGULA, relax your giving this other version WAY to much credit, will be as dead as a doornail in a couple weeks to months, this is **actly like it was when classic came out, there is a very small minority that will stick with these new server, dead content before it starts but as titan says got to love the marketing scheme :D
