My opinion is that it is nice to tell us of the bans, but some details would be sweet.

What would be even better would be some bot banning that has an effect and the result can be seen, like fishing, wcing and mining bots.

I agree with "Kk1960" . It would be nice to hear a little more about the bots being gone. I think most folks think that the thread is just something that twill shut people up and really dont think there is any thing that was done. If you guys told what they are doing I think it would make everyone happier.

I'm in that school of thought. After everything that has been said followed by the lack of action against the bots, I am *ow at the point where I wouldn't believe Jagex if they told me that the sky is blue. When my gaming experience improves then and only then will my faith be restored.

Nice PR statement however, the fact remains RS is rif with bots. Especially, the real world gold trading lvl 34 talkers at the GE! RSWALMART is getting old! so instead of advertising how many high lvl paying layers you have banned, How about telling about the total ban on RS WALMART talking bots, blue dragon bots, Grotto bots, etc. I've never botted, however, focusing on players vs the real economic exploiters i.e. real world traders is kind of BS, IMHO! Fix the real bot issue, the resource farmers who mess up training and dominate the GE especially in worlds 1 and 2!! I've sat at the GE for 3 to 4 hour periods continuosly reporting bots and faster than the RS claw can come down and crush them new ones come on lne to replace them! RS Walmart advertisers should not have a 3 strikes policy. advertise a real world trading site once and your done!!

well thats nice.... oh but guess what, I HAVE YET TO NOTICE A DIFFERENCE!!!! lets see.....went to Dragons....bots bots bots bots....went to Mature Grot worms....BOTS BOTS BOTS.....went to Tzharr City.....BOTS BOTS BOTS FREAKING BOTS!!!!!!! if you would actually read reports and investigate them or send Jmods to known botting locations this would be less of an issue, or maybe gather all the Pmods and have a bot busting day....its really easy to tell a bot from a real player, they all practicly wear the same thing, its getting to the point were i just report any one wearing dragon legs, granite body and a Dmed with a whip and a antifire shield, JaGex get your stuff together!!!! people are not even being discrete any more about botting because you're "zero tolerance for botting" is a WELL *NOWN JOKE among the community, if you did what this news post said, good for you, BUT YOU NEED TO DO BETTER!!!!

Jagex, what more, and how much more, proof do you need that we've had our fill of promises and that those of us who've taken the time to post are deserving of some positive action from you in respect of the "war" against bots....."put your money where your mouth is" and THIS time prove to us that you mean what you say.
