Iv been a on and off again player since 2006 and of late i have been sick of using the report button. i hope this will get rid of the bots once and for all or else i will continue to remain a on and off player because frankly i just hate trying to complete with something that is programmed to instantly attack, mine, fish, cut or whatever before me.

I honestly don't think a lot of high level bots were banned.

Rather, I think that the announcement refers to the dungeonerring botters that were reset to dunge level 1 and given two-week suspensions.

If that's the case, than none were banned, simply reset.

Well Jagex thanks for the update and I'm sure that you have indeed banned those players (or accounts). But please name and shame all the high lvl accounts.
It's good to see that all the hunter bot's have been eliminated recently as well.
I have also noticed a lot less bot's in other locations.

But you still need to work on many locations like the Grotworms, terrible doing slayer there, and tav blue dragons & green brutals. I have also seen lvl cb200 acc's boting in slayer tower yesterday. You have a lot more work to do and need to be doing it faster!
Whats worse you don't seem to be banning players buying gold farmer gold!

As a legit player who's been around since 2006 I h8ed it when free trade came back. As I enjoy the game much more with next to no bots. And without all the continual lockups one gets now.

I'm also disappointed to here that you have yet to deal to the POP abusers. After all they should be easy to spot.

EOC update, although I don't mind the new combat system it has had a large affect on many parts of the game which have been poorly thought out and allowed for. In fact apart from use in straight PVM or PVP the EOC update seems to be a big FAIL!

All I can say is thanks for the work you have done, but!!!!
You need to do more and act even faster on ligit player concerns like the Grotworm area.

I hate Bots already. I can't get them anymore :'(. But it's Finally Jagex have war with Bots for rid of it bots. because I'm so very patience with Jagex, Because Jagex never lie...... What's wrong with you all of you??? you think they are lies lol. Jagex is NOT Lie!!!!!!!! so... I'm very patience with Jagex had a lot hard work about rid of Bots you know that??? I'm so patience in four years!!

I have alway believe in Jagex will rid of bots. If it's fail... Well Keep Move on, work on it rid of bots again. May Jagex come online in Runescape's Worlds. Jagex Will get bots :D

If this is true...

Please explain to me why a botter on w67 doing warped tortoises for over a month 24/7, and has been reported multiple times by myself and at least a dozen other players that I know of, persists at this very moment?

Reporting a bot means absolutely NOTHING. It appears to us that no action is ever taken when we see the same bots over and over again for months long periods.

If so many bots were just banned... why haven't we seen any "botany bay" trials?
Remember the first week that update was introduced and we saw trials taking place constantly? I haven't seen one of those in... well... I can't remember the last time.

Sorry but ban bots consistently, not just once every 2-3 months and make a song and dance about it.

By all means make a song and dance, but ban them consistently and regurlarly, bots shouldnt be able to reach 200m in skills, players shouldnt be able to get away scot free when abusing glitches. Dont just ban the discoverers/highprofile ones, ban them all...

WE dont want these cheaters in OUR game, back us up jagex, youre the only ones who can.

I seen the word "BOT" and the first word that came to mind was grotworms, i love going down there but its almost impossible to get any kills because the bots attack first. And i'm talking about 2-3 bots per grotworm. They all have pretty much the same armour, and last night i noticed numberd bots on every world with the same name and different number, how can that area be overlooked. All you have to do is go down there on every world and look for yourself, i wouldn't think it would be that hard to control. Please check out the grotworm areas jagex, your loyal players are not making this up, and its far from profiling. Its quite obvious, but i still cant understand how it can be overlooked ... Thanks for the effort put into removing all the bots you have though.

Also, Gano beasts theres the same players there 24/7, been there for weeks/months.

Help us please Jagex, we so desperately want to be with you on this.
