I'm not at all encouraged by this. Your post seems to imply that the bot problem isn't as wide-spread as it is. Your "efforts" are failing spectacularly. All you need to do is spend 5 minutes in game to see that bots are EVERYWHERE and GETTING WORSE. There are more bots now than there were in the glory days when there was actually a decent number of players around.

Of course that was back when the game was fun, because the people involved actually cared to make it so. You guys are not nearly as hard on paying botters because all that matters to Jagex is the bottom line now. As long as they pay their dues, you have absolutely no interest in punishing their cheating. I would wager that almost half of what little subscriber base is still playing this game is botters and gold-farmers. I'm willing to bet more people are playing private servers than this sad money-hungry ghost of what runescape was meant to be.

Jagex should hire Vault, the guy that ran off with all that donation money from 2006scape. You seem to have the same interests at heart.

Well, try harder lol I am very annoyed I finally got a Dragon Full Helmet drop which is supposedly one of the rarest item drops to get and now it is worth less than 5m because of bots. Seriously for an item that is supposed to have prestige it has none at all.

Even though you did all these things I was wondering if there could be anti botting worlds so that to get in you have to do a few easy runescape trivia questions that change maybe every week. If you do something like this thank you so much because I cant mine coal in dwarves mines or chop yews in varrock without bots coming!

Maybe players need to take out legal proceedings in the small claims courts, as RuneScape is breaking it's own promises and may be not fit for purpose**** game is less playable because of bots. Bots are stopping players progressing in the game. Jagex are not removing all bots, when they have demonstrated they have the means to.

I'm a completionist on my main account, i have reported high level bots so many times at Ganodermic Beasts and to see them week in week out still there makes me wanna drag a J Mod down there, shake them by the head and shout LOOK!! These are high lvl bots with 95 slayer ffs, how hard can it be to get your backsides down there and get them off your godamn game?

It seriously puts me right off reporting anyone anymore as these bots are getting away with this so easily. I can be muted in less than an hour of being in game, you perm banned my main account from the forums in less than five minutes of posting but you can't get rid of these pests - get your priorities right please your looking more ridiculous by the day...

Yes, I am a little bit sick that my wife and I just paid $150 between the 2 of us for the "Gold Membership". Cannot even take a few D hides and bones back to my bank. Only contribute to the bots drops. How sick and ferious I am becoming now. Think I myself see the "End of Days" for RS when it was not that long ago I defended Jag before EOC launched. I have already cancelled 1 subscription...
