Machete Edge, reporting bots is not the problem. I've reported thousands.

If Jagex banned the bots we reported, they'd be gone in a week.

To those that are thanking jagex in this thread, ask yourself why are they not naming the top players banned or giving figures on the amounts banned ? you have been sucked in so easily, bet if they told you farther Christmas and the tooth fairy were real you would believe them !! FOOLS.

Nabu Rimanni, when we were given the player moderators report system I was soooo happy but after reporting hundreds if not well over 1000 it gets to the point where it's not worth bothering Jagex love bots that pay subs.

very glad this is happening, i hope you actually ban there IP addresses as i know this can be done, i hope the bots are gone from mith dragons as i so want to camp them myself, but at the minute im camping steels, love mage and i want 200 mil mage xp one day, 155mil to go lol

I don't know, there are around 200 or so runecrafting bots at the east varrock bank in world 39 right now.

I don't even believe it, normally I just see 10 runecrafting bots running around but this is insane.
They all look extremely obvious too. There are only occasionally 3 legit players banking there from what I have seen.

"farther" (sic) Christmas and the tooth fairy are not real? OMG.... Good Lord people get a grip. I scoff at the reasoning behind your "Jagex is letting this happen" or "jagex makes money off bots".

If you had even a modicum of knowledge regarding the economics of running a business you would know that the bots are a problem. A huge problem for Jagex. Now that they are trying to offer Game Store items and other ways to entice people to spend more money they are in actual competition for the same monies the Bots are taking. Prior to this there was an issue but it was not nearly as critical as now.

Bottom line is if you do not like the game, LEAVE. I enjoy it. I play it for about an hour a day. I could care less if the bots are there.

It's a game people.. Pull your head out.

I personally like the idea of putting a gate or human interphase at the entry to critical resource or training areas... It would slow us a bit but it is MUCH better than wandering from world to world looking for a free spot to mine.. or kill blues.. or whatever your poison of choice may be?

Its pretty easy to ban bots lol
People bot for like a day straight.
IT would be obvious to set a limit of time maximum twelve hours a person can play a game straight. After that its obviously a bot. You basically set up an automatic system that temp bans any player who player 12 hours straight and then deal with the perm bans or resets after.
