Always good to hear of botter bans.

For the RS economy, there is something that mighy benifit RS.
Make a select number of P2P items be available for use in F2P, but only available as drops in P2P.
This may seem to give F2P more free stuff, but at the end of the day, their economy could boost P2P economy, and if they use items that are worth something, but cannot get them as drops, it may encourage them to join as members.

Cheers

I don't understand why everyone is very happy about this, as it is a bunch of lies. They probably only banned a couple hundred (paying) bots. People need to realize that unfortunately, the majority of subscribers in this game are bots, and it would be illogical for Jagex to do bot nukes and mass bans, as this would slash their revenue. And I can assure you that Jagex will not ban mass numbers of bots, because they are driven by their wallets, not their morals and players.

'Nobody is exempt from this, whether it’s a fresh account or a paying maxed-out player.'

Except for gold farmers. Mutual benefit.
You guys would ban your Maxed players, but not gold farmers lol.

Jagex makes money off their membership, and gold farmers provide Jagex a large amount of income.

Wont be a surprise to if Jagex are secretly selling golds on some RSGP websites.
