i seriously gave EoC a go and i still dont like it. im a vet in runescape (9years) and truely i dont mind change. its just......... so much change... i truely dislike having to tsunami bandos as a level 200 to win from a level 120 since i wont be able to boss using momentum. every NOOP can run in if you as a level 200 use momentum on bandos and will outhit you with ease..... i dont think thats the way to go. as a level 200 you should be able to outhit a level 120 9.9/10 times. since you worked for your combat level and spend alot of time getting it. now its useless since you can get enough stuff done as a level 120 so why bother training your account? also since when the flying heap of s..t is barrows armour better then bandos armour? thats truely f-ed up since you have to pay effort getting bandos armour and little to none getting barrows armour. not to mention the huge amount of players not liking eoc. JaGex .. what are you guys doing?

No real parent is going to allow their child to starve like that though. They would eventually give them something anyways. Many parents may give their children something unhealthy (junk food such as candy and cakes) at a young age then when they get older they eat what they want to eat rather than what they should be eating (healthier foods such as fruits and whole grains). This is one of the main problems parents have w/overweight children as behavior like this contributes to early onset diabetes as well as other ailnesses.

Not really using this in reference to parenting techniques though; mainly using it as an example in alternative scenarios. Like if you were raised to not eat certain foods and whatnot, then put in a situation which may force you into eating something that goes against what you were raised to believe was immoral.

@KingofPvM it is because bandos is 65 def gear and barrows is 70 it actually makes sense if you think about it.. armour no longer matters for strength bonus and things it is just to stop you taking damage you can be completely ***** and destroy things if you have no armour either way you will just be hit more. The community really does fear change though.. i remember however long ago it was when jagex added the x10 to lifepoints and people were ranting on the forums the same as now how it was the end of runescape. Same with when they added chaotics, same when they added trade limit, same with ect ect. give it two months max and if you quit you would be back along with everyone else it is a never ending cycle lol.

Why do so many EoC lovers assume EoC haters aren't trying EoC beta. I've tried it for many hours (mage, melee, ranged, bosses, dg, and more), attended many of the events, I did the academy, I voted, and I hate it. It sucks. It needs more work than I can comprehend. I've done my best to make suggestions (and have made a lot, none of which were used) but I'm not a video game designer. Everyone has different taste. I hope Jagex is still ready to make plenty of changes to the combat beta over the next few months because in my opinion you're releasing an unfinished beta system into the live game.

Really bummed out how this is gonna ruin solo dg again when jagex had finally made a bit of progress towards fixing solo dg.

as of right now eoc is a fail, they need to bump up melee cause range and magic is op and its kinda like i got slapped in the face training my str to 90 while my other skills sit at 70. its super buggy, laggy, and annoying to play. Runescape is a game where we afk and watch tv to pass time not to actually sit here and have to watch what we are doing. they should have just made EOC a Runescape 3 and watched how many actually swapped over cause it sucks id rather go play pong on the atari, its less iritating. now i need to find another AFK game anyone got any ideas?

Ive said this once but ill say it again. Eoc needs to be released in Daemonheim only. Making dungeoneering a real skill and saving the rest of the game.

Heaven forbid you actually have to pay attention during COMBAT! It is COMBAT for crying out loud it shouldn't be afkable in my opinion. But to make up for this they added the Momentum skill and some people are still unhappy.

If you want to AFK all the time maybe you should take up skilling.

think about everything you just said. no one really ***** about the x10, everyone just thought it was pointless, and yeah no one liked the trade limit and quess what.. jagex had it removed just like when the removed the wilderness 1/2 of everyone quit, what did jagex do? oh yeah thats right they gave it back. 11/20/12 there will be a huge spike in private servers and when jagex starts losing the cash they will remove EOC like you said its a never ending cycle, jagex does something stupid everyone plays RSPS' then jagex puts everything back to normal.. so dont worrie people jagex will come to thier senses when there paychecks decrease.

The strangest part about Eoc is that there at first most people were excited for it, but as time passed less people liked it. In my first hour I was confused and learning it, then having fun for a while, but then a hour later i wasn't enjoying it as much, there just isn't anything that keeps it fun.
