hmm let see why some people hate eoc hmm because they not accept things have to change. people, just give time to eoc its just been like 16 days when the eoc came out. try the eoc and in the future u gonna like it, but if u dont try it and continued sayin what oder people said of course ur gona say that its ruined the game, btw why you continued playin a game that u hate, why, thats my question.A lot of people like the eoc (like me)it is ur opinion that the game its ruined, for me the game its gatting better. And btw jagex its not gonna turn back whit the old combat system they want to make a good game and for the people that said jagex its hungry for money, let me tell you this,if you create a game, are you gonna creat it for free or for you to win money?
life is a paradox, which may lead to undesired endings.

You know, it was really hard to read your comment. But nonetheless, I think I roughed through it enough. A few points I would like to make:
EoC was in beta for about 5 months, I think we know that we don't enjoy it. They had no intentions on actually getting player feedback on whether we wanted it or not. The thing that bothered me was that on the poll they put 3 out of the 4 options in favor of EoC, when only one should have been in favor. Neutral is neutral, I'm not sure how it is a yes vote for EoC.
Another point is that they released it far before it was ready. Just look at all of those glitches! I haven't seen this many glitches since their armor update. Yes, a company needs to make money, but to rush something that the community may not want is a bad business idea. The economy DIED after this update.
Let me just bring up one more little thing that people all around the forums have been saying, once again. I've heard many times "the bots are all gone now thanks to the EoC!", when this just couldn't be further from the truth. Take a walk around slayer dungeon. Take a walk to all of the heavy traffic botting areas. It has made botting easier and more possible. This update practically gave bots more XP/hr.
Thanks for your time.
It is during our
darkest
moments that we must focus to see the
light
.

Do you want to know exactly why the economy is messed up? You changed everything in the game. How do you expect an item like Bandos amour to rise back up 10m if you messed with the stats? Even if you do manage to make them rise up 10m, you're just going to make a whole lot of people quit. Why? Because everyone's already sold their banks at extremely low prices. If you make things rise now, no one will be able to afford to buy their banks back. You've already messed everyone over on that part. Now moving onto food, fish prices are extremely low because hardly anybody likes your new combat system. Why need food if nobody is going into combat? And it's becoming cheaper and cheaper everyday due to the huge amount of bots that you clearly seem to ignore. You can try to sugarcoat it and say that everyone loves the EoC and the only people that don't like it are the ones who don't give it a chance. Let me point out that not only was your poll bias, but if you look up trafficking charts for Runescape, you'll see the huge decline since the launch of EoC. That's proof enough.

I'm waiting until the day people at Jagex realize that this game is never recovering and they have no one to blame but themselves. The only thing keeping your game alive right now are the bots that you guys seem to adore. Wait a couple months from now when more peoples memberships run out. Then it'll be even more obvious than it already is.

To everyone here who hates any of their updates in the last year, follow suite.

Just quit the damn game. It was a huge weight off my shoulders when I finally quit this garbage about a year ago. The game is only about money now, they don't care about their players any more. I see people posting here who've had concurrent membership for 5+ years and are still crying on the forums. Instead of idly standing by and letting your money be wasted on this, QUIT! You aren't forced to play this, but you continue to even though you hate it. There are thousands of other games you could play that have the exact same play style (done better of course) than Runescape.

Do yourselves a favour and just cancel the membership. Let it get back to to the ridiculous 8$ they are charging for this garbage now that way you won't feel inclined to pay for it.

Jagex didn't make people loose their bank, they did it by themselves. I had 80m bank, and started playing again, my bank is about 50m now because of the EoC. But this doesn't mean, that I will sell items like full bandos and so on, because the EoC isn't finished, there will come many updates regarding the armour, and who knows, how the economy will stable out. Maybe the items will rise, maybe they wont, but the reason for the economy crash, is the players only. everybody was panic selling, and this is peoples own fault.
