@Jadw27 prot prayers are currently 50%, but monsters damage has been designed around that. What was increased were stat prayers such as piety and turmoil. Which were increased twice, once being about 3x as powerful as the previous version.

I really do appreciate you responding and yes personally i have had members on a pure in rs since 04 :p so i dont want to have to get defense up and the main problem now was the ability to not be able to use slayer to train.

How will weaknesses be changes after eoc goes live? Will many monsters change their weaknesses? Right now mayority of monsters are weak to magic, it should be 50% of them weak to melee since melee has 2 skills to train.

I really don't like multi combat everywhere. Could you make some places 1v1 zones, like the portals in clan wars and some monster areas. When eoc was first introduced, I really didn't like it, I thought it was too complicated. But I gave it a try and it was quite fun. People should try it, yes the old combat system was good, but eoc has potential, if jagex listens to players i'm sure it will turn out great. I still have trouble with abilities (still learning) and as a 45def account I tend to get piled a lot by other players and die quickly so I haven't been able to try abilities out properly, 1v1 zones in clan wars would really help players learn about the new combat style.
I am sad to see the old runescape combat go, but everything changes and evolves, maybe this could be a really big boost. Change is hard but its what keeps things going, lets get used to the eoc.
Just an idea, but could sets of armours be introduced to f2p like bronze- rune boots f2p? Hardly anyone in P2p uses these boots, i think they'd be really useful in f2p and members can sell these boots and make money.

@Kadour Ziani: the combat triangle is being nerfed a bit in pvm, abyssal demons were weak to mage but are going to be weak to melee again, I don't know any others off the top of my head atm, but melee will do just fine.

Personally I always though strength should be melee only and attack affect accuracy of all styles, but I understand that would be a very big change and it's been far too late for that months ago. However it would make the combat triangle more fair in terms of skill leveling since all skills would need to level two skills.

@Ashh: If you are being piled by PKers consider turning on single way wilderness on the constitution menu.

I have a request. Make the momentum ability last much much longer(2hours), so we don't have to touch this new combat stuff if we don't want. Also, make it stronger too, not quite as strong as using abilities but to the same strengh as the current system.
