It gives a announcement in chat of where the location is, currently they are at south of Falador.

Loot seems to be some random lower stuff, but you also have a chance of dragon weapons.

Cannons everwhere, and only junk drops. Disappointed.

You can program and maintain an mmo, but you can't figure out how to say that the snowmen won't be raiding all of those places each time. Kudos Jagex, I spent 20 minutes at the grand tree for no reason.

Worst event ever.
I couldn't even kill more than one snowman and all it dropped was 10 coins.

As usual Jagex fails when it comes to their so-called community events.
Stop doing them!!! O_o

They never showed up at Ardougne market. The entire world is bragging about cookies and Jagex doesn't even know how to use them.

To everyone who didn't see them:
Each world has a yellow text announcement in the game chat box saying where the snowmen are appearing at the top of the hour.

Suggestion for Jagex: PLEASE remove the ability to kill snowmen with a canon.
