Also from what I can see, cannons don't work, so don't bother using them.

You guys need to calm the hell down.. And I don't know what you're talking about... Without a cannon I clocked in 44 drops at the last one... Yes I agree the drops are ****, out of 74 drops total, My best one was 500 air runes, but what do you expect? An Arma Staff Every kill? Seriously, just calm the hell down...

I'm not sure if I got any coins or not, but here is what I got in a single raid:

- 120 mahogany planks
- 80 pure essence
- 60 flax
- 2 potato cacti

... on a total of at least 11 kills, using Ranged.

I stayed away from the cannons and focused on snowmen in a small area.

No cannons where we were, still an overwhelming amount of people. Just got the same junk.

Jagex used the term 'valuable' when referring to dragon weaponry. This event is for the lower levels, they should have made that clear so us higher players wouldn't have shown up and taken all their kills.

They dont need to work.
They are only being used by people to confuse & cause mass lag for others.

I've never been a fan of cannons. Frankly, they have no place in the game. And events like this is a perfect example of why. '' Grow up Raj, there's no place for truth on the internet. ''

Here's a guide to help you get to the spots faster and get more kills. Most of you probably know this, but if you don't:

Get a Ring of Wealth (4), Fally tab, Ardy tab, Camelot tab, and go to the Grand Tree. Bring the FASTEST weapon you have, preferably range or a wand. Stay at the Grand Tree until the message is sent out in the chatbox. Of course, if it is at the GT, stay there. Otherwise, use the respective teleportation.

Using this method, I managed to get to all the spots before the cannons or the player-lag.

leik SaltandLight. This is a dying game. Everything about it is just gaining XP and levels for a stupid cape, it's not about the unlocks. The skills are broken, combat system is dull and repetitive. And the MTX...lol.
