Yes, the cannons are an issue. They cause additional lag along with the 100 + people in one location. Now if our overseers at Jagex had done what was implied in the message this event would occur in multiple locations.

But now that would not be Jagex's way of poorly handling stuff like this would it? There is a reason they are the #1 FREE game because they consistently alienate their PAYING members.

@Kyuden & Lithlor - No, I did not have a cannon deployed - nor do I give a care that you accuse me of having one. I don't understand how me saying, "The cannons are definitely a big problem at these events, though..." could be anymore clear regarding my distaste for them :) .

NOTE: My "edit" on pg. 18 was before you two even posted, so... :P

Failed event again. I didn't participate in the turkey one since I knew it would be like this that time, but decided to take a chance for the snowmen. Oh well, just wasted about 15 minutes.

Oddly I did get 1 kill for 2 potato cacti and I will be using them for my challenge I got today for extreme magic potions, but the massive lag due to too many cannons and a large amount of players slamming the snowmen all at once was VERY annoying.

I guess you don't learn from past events that had the EXACT same problems and everyone complained about it.

Being trolled by is not fun.

P.S. And what was up with the "We need snow-women too." thing?? A bit odd in my opinion.
