ACDC Bag has been pestering me in game, so I think I better explain here. When I was 4 years old, I was hyperactive and in order to rein me in, my mother got some medicine, I think it was something like phenobarbitol, but anyway, she gave me too much and sent me up to take a bath. Unfortunately I fell asleep and slipped under the water and drowned.
I was legally dead, I'm told, for about ten minutes, though that may be an exaggeration, I don't know What I do know is I suffered brain damage and have always had a really bad memory. I thought that runescape came out in 1999 and I joined soon after, but my memory can play tricks on me, so that being said, it was not a deliberate lie.
I can say that I joined before the release of Dragon Slayer, I am sure of that much, and I can also say that a guy at school gave me a 3 and a 1/4 inch floppy disk with runescape on it and introduced me to the game.
Anyway, if I were going to tell a lie, wouldn't I do my research and not make a fool of myself? I didn't do any research because I believed that the dates I gave were true.
I do have the ten year cape, and I tend towards honesty as much as possible, because lets face it, with my memory issues I'd have no chance of keeping a lie together, I'd be caught pretty fast, lol.
Anyway, most people are reasonable and will get that it is a simple mistake, not sure why people like ACDC Bag feel the need to nitpick.
