K? Guess copy-rights violation isnt a good arguement. When you graduate 3rd grade start working twords a degree in game design. Then make a multi million dollar game, so jagex can make a mash up of it and some other random game and see how good it makes YOU feel.
First: World of Rune-Craft
Second: FPS MineCraft
Next: Fuse lollipop chainsaw with portal and create a soul wars field in it? Who know what jagex will do tomarrow.
@IM GOD - That's cool and all, but copyrights have nothing to do with it. Even if it WAS a direct port off Minecraft, Notch/Jeb would give the okay for it, as they fully support modding of their source code. Jagex bought the full rights off Ben, so they can do whatever they please with Ace of Spades.
So, where are you headed with your argument? Into a deep, dark hole?
Yeah.... I already bought Ace of Spades on Steam for 20% off. I wonder when Runescape will show up on Steam (Besides, Steam Guard bans all cheaters - whether if they're macroing or just using an aimbot). If it does, then that's great
cause then it'll be the first game that requires a Steam account to play Runescape.
Edit: It's not a rip-off of minecraft. There are quite a few games that are similar to minecraft - Terraria for example. They took it from a Minecraft perspective, but made it into a great 2D game.

This WAS the Runescape forum. When did it change to advertising some ripoff game that jagex bought. Whose money did they buy it with? Oh right, the money you pay for THIS game, you know, the money they claim to plow back into the game.
B S, not RS.

Game actually looks okay, unfortunately it will almost definitely become dead content and fail like every other project Jagex works on. Don't worry, you'll somehow see microtransactions in that game soon too. That's what the company does. They buy out good games like runescape, and destroy them by making them moneygrabbing schemes.
