Eh, I had no idea that Jagex published Ace of Spades. I always thought it was just another game like Minecraft, and therefore not worth my time (because if I want to play Minecraft, then I am going to play Minecraft), but I guess I was wrong.

I might check it out. I don't particularly care for shooter games. Well, okay, I really don't care for shooter games, but I still might check it out.

Also, to people saying it's "not a rip-off of Minecraft," just look at it from a neutral perspective. What does it look like? Minecraft. Clearly, Minecraft had a great influence in Ace of Spade's development.

As far as Infiniminer is concerned, it really isn't as popular as Minecraft. It was a forerunner. It's similar to how Dracula is the most famous vampire novel of all, but the book "The Vampyre" was the first vampire novel and inspired Dracula's writing, but is considerably lesser known than Dracula.

I digress; wonderful for those who like creative shooters and Runescape. I greatly dislike shooter games, but I might check it out just because of the Minecraft aspect.

I remember playing this game in the beta and it was okay. But now that Jagex has worked on it, it looks great from the few videos I have seen, hopefully I should be able to get it soon. Great work Jagex :D
So can we get a trimmed quest cape though?

Isn't this a bit late? This map has been out since release? Or am I missing something ;)

Edit: It is a very fun game though, I love playing as the Miner and going under the map then just going up behind a marksman and blowing his head off xD

Thing is, if people say it's just a rip off Minecraft, it's essentialy saying that Forza is a rip off of Gran Turismo games, or Cod is a rip-off of Doom. Of course it had some impact in its development, most games will have a game that they "base" it around.

I think this is being posted on Runescape forums/homepage as Runescape is a bigger game and the majority of the community will not of heard of Ace of Spades so it might drum up some extra business from the RS community.

I've been playing Ace of Spades for over a year now. Jagex made the game alot different from when it was in beta, but I guess thats alright... In beta, the game was more about sneaking around, building fortesses to hide in and stuff, now, the game is just rush in kill a few people and die. That is fun too but it is a lot different from the beta.

I still really enjoy the game and I recommend people try it out before saying ****.
