I loved it! There were a few grammatical errors. ("No." said Ariane) should have been on the next line, but I really enjoyed the story! Had a great Christmas-y feel to it!

My only concern is how all of this fits into the Lore of the game.

First off, why do the citizens of Gielinor celebrate Christmas? Maybe event from the Gods Wars could have happened at Christmas time that they celebrate? Or just celebrating the new year!

Second, I've just realised something odd about Varrock being "the trade capital of Gielinor." Isn't Varrock quite far into the east of the continent? Wouldn't somewhere around Catherby be better suited? It would take a very long time for the non-wizards of Yanille for example to trade..

Third, will there be a quest next year featuring this trio of Signature Heroes? This "artifact" sounds very interesting!

Fourth: are horses real or not in Gielinor??? They don't appear in the game, yet are in the books by TS Church and now this lore too!

Lastly for now, I remember Mod Mark saying in the Lore Q+A about the "accent map" but what is Varrock's accent? The children seem very up-tight about their lingo, if I'm honest. Not too sure whether this was the intention or purely the fault of the author.
I'm just a man; I'm not a hero.
Just a boy who had to sing this song.

Humans in Gielinor may have come from Earth originally, if not, King Arthur and the knights of the round table could have brought it with them. In regard to Varrock being the trade capital, Varrock is a large city and easily accessible. Also, two words, Grand Exchange.

For these crazy mythical horses that "slip in" Gielinor, I think there should be logical reasons why they do and don't exist here. Apologies, in some way.

1. Horses are not extinct/mythical.
2. Horses have been taken away from Gielinor by something/someone.
3. Horses now live in another plane/world.
4. The usage of horses have later been erased among everyone's minds, making everyone think what we do today.
5. Gielinor shrunk. A slight example is during Recipe for Disaster, with the dining room getting bigger for the "guests".
6. Exercise is important, yet is not logical in this.
7. Something to do with horse meat, the most horrible experience of food.
8. They turned into unicorns.
9. We are... nope, that's impossible and bizarre.
10. They became so advanced so quickly, they're now living over us in space becoming the most powerful space empire even as we speak! It's the end of the world!

Fashionably late, one would say!
