For those wondering if their old membership rates will continue after buying this, I bought my brother one of these Gold packages as a Christmas present (I usually always buy him a year's worth of members anyway) and when I had a look at the billing page afterwards the old discounted rate still shows. So, it currently seems to me that it is exactly like buying a gamecard in that it doesn't affect your subscription price.

I suspect that their goal is to drive off veterans (who usually know quality from this kind of bunk and how JaGeX truly used to be) and bring in more short-sighted new players (children I may dare say at that) that have mommy's bank card.

Its an Rip off, the system says i have to pay in euro for one year thats 64,95 lets say
thats 65 euro, Hell on your website says 74,95 lets say 75 dollars for one year
Thats a good price!
When i convert the dollars to euro's its 56 Euro not 65 at your website thats 9 euro's difference and about 11.50 dollars difference
So let me buy the Gold membership for the steady price of 75 US Dollar and cut the crap , cause this is making me angry Ripp off
Why we here in Europe has to pay more then the rest of the world ?

I just purchased the Gold package. I found myself debating whether to buy it, just like many others have been. I know that being locked in for 12 months can be risky, but I do see 2013 being an interesting year for runescape. In addition, the 2,000 runecoins, 365 extra spins, and all of the previous package items, made it an extremely lucrative deal. Overall, the gold membership seems to provide benefits that exceed many of the negative aspects, and you end up saving money if you consider the extras.

For anyone who wants to know, the BloodPouncer Pet will NOT be a part of any of the 3 Premier Club deals. I've got confirmation from an official Jagex Moderator via e-mail.

The BloodPouncer Pet will be a 'Rs Gamecard Reward' only.
I hope that answers some questions.

Also loads more payment options have been added for the Premier Club deals, such as PayByCash, iDeal, PaySafeCard and a lot more! :)

For those of you who have been asking what it is that you actually get....

I just spent some time at the support center and discovered that everything you get from the Premier Club is purely cosmetic, no actual items at all......
