For everyone attacking EoC... Shut up please and stop saying rs will die... Hello I was here when FT/W was removed it didn't die... Instead offer ways to make it better for the love of all things holy... However mods please answer if we buy this once it over do we keep the 5$ or not?

Pfft, you know what this is. This is a way of ensuring that those who get ticked off by EoC, or any other "good quality improvements" will not be missed because they've already paid for the year. Good luck in 2014 Jagex, sincerely.

*Been RS member since 2006. 2012/13 players get priority over Beta's etc... because they've paid $75* ...Jagex. Really. Maybe update your game with more than the odd short quest, failed holiday event (christmas event took me no more than 3 minutes this year) or Squeal of Fortune/Solomon's *tems. You've really gone downhill recently.

I think this is an excellent idea, I've just purchased the Gold Membership and couldn't be happier :D

People shouldn't look at this like it's "just another way for Jagex to make money" because it's not; not only are you paying less for the whole year but you're also getting tons of benefits, some of which you'd usually have to pay for, completely free!

As soon as I saw that I was getting all of the items people got from buying Membership Cards this year I just knew I had to buy the Gold Membership! I've always wanted the Flaming skull and the Katana :) Not only that, I get a whopping 2000 RuneCoins which means I can finally get the Dwarven Warsuit.
