Listen to us Jagex. Change your prices to reflect what people actually pay and more people will buy the 12 month package!!! We want the savings, but at current prices those who pay less than 7.95 will not be saving a thing with these new Premier Club packages!!

Two points here.

A. Those of you paying $5/mo are not really being forced to pay more. You're getting 365 spins and 2000 runecoins. Factoring in the cost of those, it shakes out to ~5/mo for the membership portion and cosmetic items, and an extra 1.50/mo for the coins and spins. So if those don't interest you, don't buy it.

B. Jagex has as much right as any company does to make money. These pay for features are still far less insidious than say, Planetside 2's pay for weaponry or League of Legends pay for champions. These are almost entirely cosmetic, or things you can acquire for money in other ways.

I think it's very unfair and ignorant for people to be calling Jagex Greedy, sure they are trying to make more money any way they can, but that doesn't make them greedy, they already said that all the money they make from SoS and the SoF, they are saving up to be able to pay for the massive updates coming in 2013.

Do any of you calling Jagex greedy actually know how expensive it must be for Jagex to keep this game up AND release new content every week!?

You should all be a little more appreciative, in my opinion.

Sure I don't agree with all the ways Jagex try to make money, it borders on RwT and Gambling but they do it so we can keep playing Runescape and keep getting new content as well as pay all the people; (and in turn their families) that work on the game.

So sure it's okay to disagree with their methods but to call them greedy is just downright selfish.

I still pay $5 a month for my membership....
So the Gold package is no discount for me.

I would buy this membership pack for the whole year, IF it at least cost the same for me as paying it every month...

- Will I still have my Grandfathered in $5/month membership after my Gold Premier runs out?

this is just stupid. runescape is selling out beyond all belief

they keep making 3 month cards to get "special items" and now theyre givin people with the premeir package all the items. so now since they are already stacked on membership from buying all these special 3 months, they wont get anything new for this "premier package". and already have more membership then is every needed at one point in time.
