Another pathetic and desprate move of jaflex to try to get more people to play runescape. if you don't want a less amount of un-active community, and want to grow the community back to how big it was, remove the eoc then jaflex

First came EoC. Then came the Brink of Extinction. Now it's Recruitment Drive.

I wonder what will be the next phase of RuneScape. Can't wait to find out!

P.S. - Refer a Friend was already exploited method of botting. What will be put in place to end the bots if they hear about this new method of multilogging same world to earn even more XP per each of their Refer a Friend bots - since Botany Bay still is only targeting advert bots rather than XP bots?

This seems pretty wrong in the sense that over the coming days, month(s), and year(s) those who refer random f2pers to become members will need to effectively put 10% less effort in playing the game than any other player. Think of it in this context: Player (a) spends 10 hours on a skill to level it from say 96-97. All player (b) has to do is have 10 "friends" spend 1 hour of skilling that same skill and player (b) recieves a free level for no effort whatsoever. How is this fair in any way to players who actually play the game? It penalizes any and every current player who either doesn't want to spam their friends via email/social networking sites to join Runescape or any player who doesn't resort to abusing the recruit a friend feature. I support most updates but this is really upsetting in the sense that I would like to see my skill levels as an accurate reflection of how I play the game and not how much I can't keep up with others' unfair exp boosts.

Naturare

"So, basically, everytime I want to extend my membership, I should instead refer myself and get the same amount of membership, but also get an xp bonus? Is there even a reason to pay membership for an old account anymore?

/Naturare"

Mod Mike

You only only recruit the same account once so you'd have to keep making new accounts which doesn't really make much sense!

actually it does make sense because ur paying the same amount to make a new member as the days you get added and you get more exp

in other words its more exp efficient to make a new account each month to claim your bonus membership and experiance
