Would you get a 10% boost on experience from their lamps, penguin points, circus, quests etc?

I had a side account not too long ago. It got two weeks free membership and then I was told I could buy a month of membership for about £1. If this is still the case with new accounts, could someone possibly earn a month of membership for their main account by paying this reduced price?

You could have done something cosmetic, but awesome, like a unique pet as an incentive to get people to refer friends : "Refer a friend and get this pet unicorn". You could even have engaged the community in the discussion and had a binding poll (remember those?) to decide the pet.

Instead you once again come up with a situation which on the surface looks like it's designed for abuse and botters.

I don't see what the incentive is to play the game honestly after this update. Obviously, I've no intentions of ever botting, but the update to RAF seems to benefit only those whom do.

I mean, is it really that hard to see the problem?

I recruit a "friend", I then get one month free membership. My "friend" decides to start botting the harder/more expensive skills like Prayer, Herblore, etc. I get 10% of his/her exp until they get caught for botting, which, as we all know, isn't exactly a quick process.

And, since there's no longer a limit, if/when the botting account does get caught, I'll just make another! And hell, what's to prevent me from recruiting 5 "friends" and having 5 bots running at once?

The only incentive here is for botters to pay for more bots running on their account.

It would take an incredibly daft person to not see the problem with this new system. Max Quest Points. Max Cool Points. Host of the Immensely Popular Lords of the Wait.

Just a few points...

1. People please stop wining about the EoC. For one this isn't that place to do so, 2, use momentum, 3, if your trying to PvM stop being so damn lazy and hit a few buttons.

2. This update does look rather floored. You say 'people would have to keep making new account to get free membership month on month for there mains, that wouldn't make sense'. I'm fairly sure people will happily do this to save themselves £5 per month.

Edit: 3. I'm trying my hardest to believe that you care about the removal of botters. However, this really does encourage them to create more accounts. I understand this could be an extra £5 for the game and for Jagex, however you cannot currently control the bot issue. The have already made there way around your system.

Apologies in advance if i have missed something in previous post's that contradicts this, haven't had the time to read through them all.

lol jagexs new sad attempt to get people to play again please come back we will even pay for ur membership lol sad ur just paying for bots to ruin ur game even more lol and soon they will see theres nothing in it for them lol so so sad ever concidered having a eco and classic option like when u realsed the rs we all loved and u had the option for classic lol everything u did thos past 6 years or so was a waste when u realsed eco every update u ever did wasted in 1 update that ruined ur game peace out jagex!!!!!!!

Maybe your game isn't doing as well as you thought it would since eoc's release?

What a farce, why don't you just start everyone at max combat lmfao. Lord only knows you give enough ******** exp+ double exp weekends for it
