The beauty of the game is that experienced players are better than inexperienced players. By allowing people to buy xp and gp you will get a wrong situation. Where the best players are the ones who spend the most money and not time on the game. And that is not what the game should be about.

"Thanks to player feedback, we have reviewed the quality and value of the prizes available on the Squeal of Fortune, and we’re pleased to announce that we will be making significant improvements to the drop rates and overall value of the loot on offer. "

Okay here are my thoughts. Yes the buying more spins is wrong. However I don't mind the Sof or StW (Spin to Win, as often called by my clannies) I have been a mem since 2005. Aside from that though, I have a problem with the rares being un-tradeable. I have won some of the queen's items & D ceremonial Cape. I tossed out the tattoo. (even stopped doing holiday events, because all items are un-tradeable, so imo they are worthless to even obtain). There is such little chance to win the rares, they should be trade-able. As far as the lamps go, I like them, but we should have a choice whether they add or subtract from exp. My reasoning is I have friends that have been hijacked that were pure, after they were hijacked, they were no longer pure. This would at least allow them the chance to make them pure once again. I have always thought that the old holiday items should be added to elite scrolls as a possible gain, but I know many disagree with me on that, but alas I will put it in again. who know, maybe 1 day ppl will listen :)
Thank you for your time to read, though I know that some ppl will be upset by this. Oh well can't please them all....

Remember Jagex, you are runing your own game here. These people have opinions, opinions of your customers should be what you listen to. Although, it isn't your customers game, its yours they can't say what goes only you guys can. So if you think Squeal Of Fortune is a good thing to have, go with it and I'm with you on it.
Now, people complain about the SOF update. Personally I think that the fact that you are trying to put out updates is a good thing. Although, we all heard that saying, 'Quality over quantity' I've always went by that saying and wish that you would too with your updates. But remember everyone, this is Jagex's game, not yours. You play the game, they make the game.

@Stretch I like your opinion regarding this non-tradable issue. I myself found runenscape to be the most interesting in the world when I saw a party hat and when I had heard that it was an old holiday item back when they were still tradable..My eyes nearly popped out of my head.. But I know what you mean..I strongly agree. It wasnt so much the Party Hats themselves that got me loving runescape..it was the idea that we could participate in a holiday event and obtain and keep tradable holiday items. So, my suggestion is this..Bring back tradable holiday items, but its up to you Jagex to not let the players of runescape know about when holiday items are going to be tradable or not..If you randomly fluxuate the tradability in all special events (holidays mainly) then i believe you will begin to see runescape grow again back into favorable and familiar times > :) PLease consider, I have been meaning to address this matter but someone beat me to it..Still I am grateful, because it helped me remember my better time on Runescape and I'm sure people will feel the same way =)

@PceFul - You say that they should not listen to the customer. This is of course not very smart, because the customers are the ones who bring in the money for the company. By forums and surveys the game developers get an idea on how to make the game in the way the customers want it. Hereby the game will improve and that will eventually lead to an increase in profit.
So it is for customer and company very important to give your opnion about recent developments. This will only improve the game in the perspective of both parties (company and customer).
