I must say, as a veteran of Runescape - This update is useless. Not only does it provide free items to new players, but is only a sad excuse fro Jagex to suck the money out of us players. If you're going to have the update added, at least give us a fair chance at good NON-MONETARY items, such as lamps and fun little toys like the barrel of monkeys.

improved yor chance to win a super rare 10 times more yeah right i must of seen it stop on a rare or super rare like twice now for atleast 2-3 seconds and suddenly skip its a computer you will never beat a computer maybe you will get lucky but that is super rare like if you play on slot machine when you win big you might think you beat it but you will never beat a machine where its supposed to make money youll always put more in than you get out

I really like SoF and the thrill of getting a rare item (I just got Dragon Ceremonial Boots yesterday!!). The common and uncommon spots are often filled with xp lamps, which is always good.
However, I do not like the buy-able spins idea, as Jagex is sucking a lot of money from gamers. And the fact that it is somewhat hard to obtain spins including the 3 daily spins (because it's still May). I've done 3 quests in 2 hours and haven't gotten that dragon ceremonial cape or hat. But hey, still looking forward to doing even more :P

Plz stop complaining bout RWT. some other HOT games like diablo 3 have RWT with other PLAYERS and its an epic hot game. so why complain here? Think before posting, and if you can't think then don't post.

New and improved? Seriously?!?! I finally get what was supposed to be a valuable spin and instead you hand me a new version of garbage. What good does a dragon "ceremonial" platebody or greaves do me? Does it provide and fighting/skilling enhancements? Can it be bought or sold? All it is is a waste of bank space. Another pointless item to go along with those horns and tattoos. I'm holding on to them for now in the hopes that one day they might become tradeable and I can dupe some other poor soul into buying them off me. Thanks, Jagex, for once again getting it all wrong.

You can name it what you want, you can improve what you want. SOF is still gambling.
For your information
Gambling is a game when you can win when you are lucky and not because you are the best of all. (Dutch law as I was told)
(Mind the fact.. runescape -in game- theft was also proscecuted and the boys were sentenced for stealing a fury and another item in Runescape. So when the court decided game content equals real life possesion, it could be the same for game gambling as sof will be judged the same?). I dont know but im really curious about it.
Promotional gambling: goal of this promotional game is you will buy the product where this game of chance belongs to.
Joining this game of chance may not cost more than a stamp.
The company offering this game may not mislead about the chances to win.
De organising company may not spend a lot of money on advertising this game of chance.
It is forbidden to gamble on the internet.

means misfortune (no joke, it is a real word)
means when things dont go as planned (reality)

My feedback is this: Squeal of Fortune (SoF) has many dislike and likes. How many vote for more rewards? How many vote for a better chance to get rares? How many vote for the SoF to be narrowed so we get less prize options? How many vote we just get rid of the SoF and don't bother discussing anything? How many vote who say they like the money prizes? The list of questions goes on, but these are just a few. Perhaps someone could assemble a team to think about crucial questions relevant to the SoF that could be given to the players of Runescape via, front page question poll. You need our opinions..so what better way to get them. Perhaps there may be a slight communication problem between the players and Runescape after all?
