May I ask how is it that this imp came to obtain all these items? Seems illogical to me, but in any event. We talk about Romeo and Juliet causing new players to quit, why aren't we considering the damage that the SOF is causing to the view old players have of the game? The fact that those players are becoming disgruntled and disgusted and quitting or playing less and less due to lack of interest in a game they once considered great?
The most we thought we'd ever be paying for is membership, why are we being given the option to pay for gambling? Yes it is gambling Jagex, especially since we can buy spins. $100 for 100 free spins? Or is it 200 spins for $100, can't remember but perish the thought Jagex, perish the thought!
The only reason I spin is because I do not know how to disable the SOF notification. I tend to log out at different times and it's an annoyance everytime seeing that beady eyed excuse of an imp staring at me. So I just spin and get rid of it, and I get those coins the majority of the time, or cowhides, rare few times lamps. If there is a way to disable, someone please and I mean PLEASE tell me! This is not a cry for better rewards, this is a cry for it to be removed, and if you are so intent to keep it despite our feelings towards it, at least give us an option of disabling it from popping up.
My suggestion to all, ask that it be removed altogether, free spins or bought spins, I choose neither.

@ Trentspencer. The other day I was joking about Jagex seeing King Kong for the first time and being all inspired with the monkey themed events, but now I can't help but think Jagex staff really loves watching wheel of fortune, and is taking cues from Zynga in regards to their ways to make revenue.

I wholeheartedly say "Booooo". Also, can someone point out to me where the people who were asking for the loot on this thing to be improved are? I somehow didn't see their threads under the pile of 1000s of supporters strong remove SoF threads... Oh well, selective hearing and all that.

Mod William,
Why do you ignore the feedback from thousands of players that asked for the removal of SoF?
Why do you base game content decisions, on in game actions, realising that over 50% of players in game are bots?
Why Mod William, do you ignore feedback from countless player moderators who have handed you back their crowns?
Why, because of the player mods resigning, is there now 10x the amount of gold bot spammers, as muting them to stop people visit sites, and being hacked, was one of the last powers player mods had?
What do you intend to do about gold spammers now that you only have corrupt mods?
What do you intend to do about hosts, now you are attempting, and failing to take the gambling aspect out of SoF?
Why do Jagex ban player accounts from forums for being against sof to silence them, and then claim SoF hate is dying?
Why Mod William?

Thank you Joke, It's just a shame Jagex won't take the time out to read it or even make any effort to put our concerns at ease with some truthful responses.
I think that's one of the things that winds me up the most, We can all see without a doubt the clear consensus of the playing community is to remove the SoF yet the official Jagex response not only improves the rewards but tells us they did so because WE REQUESTED IT.
I find it Infuriating that Jagex really do treat us like idiots and ultimately we're paying them to do so.
They may be the official representatives of Runescape but they are few and we are many, so why do they really think that if they have an idea for the game and the majority of players don't like it, it's still a good idea just because it is THEIR idea, That's ignorance on a scale I can't even fathom.
They should ask us what content we want to see and if a vast number of players agree, and I'm talking majority numbers, THEN they should put it into the game and be confident most players will like the content, it will be in the spirit of the game, people won't feel screwed over, and in general it will actually make the game better and encourage new players, instead of just releasing whatever a hand full of players (assuming most of the Jmods have active personal accounts) deem to be good content without letting us have any say in it and then ignoring the ensuing outcry against it.
