RULES & BEHAVIOUR GUIDELINES

These are our key behaviour guidelines only - further detail and examples available on request.

All Jagex rules apply

RESPECT FOR EVERYONE COMES FIRST

No racism, sexism or discrimination for any reason. If you can do this, then all clan rules and guidelines will be easy peasy.

Discussion of potentially controversial topics IS allowed, as long as you are willing to listen to others viewpoints and to stop the discussion if it is starting to turn heated or at the request of a high ranking clan member.

We encourage joking around, but keep jokes about sexual assault, serious medical conditions, physical disabilities, etc., out of clan chat, and absolutely do not joke about self harm.

We love helping and mentoring, but also, we are not babysitters, so we will always teach people how to research and test things for themselves.

Do not get into 'oneupmanship' with other clannies. We all progress at our own pace, and if you have spent 7 hrs a day for 5 yrs training a skill, having more xp than others isn't an indication that you're a superior being...

RANKS - RECRUIT TO GENERAL

Exceptions to this ranking process can be approved by a vote of the Clan Council

One Chevron - Recruit

Reserved for new clan members for the first few days - just chat with us and you will move to the next rank - also used for inactive members

Two Chevrons - Corporal

Under 25m XP in clan

Three Chevrons - Sergeant

From 25m to 50m XP in clan

Bronze Star - Lieutenant

From 50m to 75m XP in clan

Silver Star - Captain

From 75m to 100m XP In clan

Gold Star - General

100m XP and above in clan. Generals can be picked for a higher rank on the basis of such things as mentoring, chatting and participating in events and activities or leading small group events.

RANKS - ADMIN TO DEPUTY OWNER

Responsibilities are cumulative and have reqs - active player, mentorship, events leading.

Bronze Medallion - Admin

No longer used.

Silver Medallion - Organizer

Recognition of those who give practical mentoring help to others.

Gold Medallion - Coordinator

An honorary rank reserved for long term clannies with a proven ability to assist and mentor others, and also retired Key ranks.

Bronze Key - Overseer

Greets clannies and participates in cc, gives assistance when able and helps with clan admin.

Silver Key - Deputy Owner

Highly autonomous role and has responsibility for making decisions as necessary if issues arise, mediates any disputes.

Gold Key - Clan Owner

Currently held by the founder. Can be challenged by a majority vote of the Clan Council.

CLAN GOVERNANCE

The Clan Council

Key ranks are collectively referred to as the Clan Council and make all significant decisions via majority vote.

Clan Meetings

Any signiificant questions that arise would be voted on at a Clan Meetings where every clan member is welcome to have their say.

Annual Officer Reviews

Every 12 months Organizer to Clan Leader ranks are assessed for activity level and contribution to the clan. Promotion/demotion recommendations are made.

Rights of Clan Members

We believe in respecting the rights of all clan members and disputes with clan leadership or other clan members will be dealt with in a confidential and fair manner. If you experience otherwise please raise a grievance with a member of the Clan Council.

Role of Clan Leader

The Leader manages all administration of the clan, which includes such things as recruiting, ranking, citadel management etc., as well as ensuring the clan atmosphere is in line with the clan philosophy.

We work together to maintain a mature and respectful clan environment, while also keeping in mind that RuneScape is just a game and should not be taken too seriously, always remembering to have fun!!!

A clan in the spirit of Nunc Morere (2010-2013) - the first clan founded by Noetica.

WHAT DOES NOETIC MEAN?

In philosophy, noetics is a branch of metaphysical philosophy concerned with the study of mind as well as intellect. There is also a reference to the science of noetics, which covers the field of thinking and knowing, thought and knowledge, as well as mental operations, processes, states, and products (Wikipedia).
