Laptop stopped working last night so I might not be on for awhile. Taking it over to a friend so he can look at it, but I'm not holding my breath. If I can't get it fixed there is a chance I could get a new one, but that won't likely happen until at least around Christmas when there are better sales. One thing I do know if I can get a new on it won't be an HP again.

My happy little bump.

HP has really gone downhill in the last few years Zena. Jodi had a lot of trouble with hers, HP ended up replacing it, but she won't be back to them either.

Zen, I know you have been having some issues for awhile. Hopefully your friend can bring the laptop back to life. I buy HP for work but not the consumer lines. The business lines like EliteBook cost more and have a 3yr warranty. I won't buy Dell; they lost my business ten years ago.
