It's always interesting when people can't see their own shortcomings, yet choose to blame others. It's no shock the team has been taking hate for years (why stop now, as the realm is coming to an end).

Honestly I hope before it ends someone posts the guidelines we had to follow over the years. After all no forums means what it the greater scheme of things.

On second thought they'd probably get perma banned in game. After all I got threatened for saying there are only 2 genders. I could only imagine what posting the guidelines would do.

As Tranq says, we have guidelines to follow.

Tbh the forums (and the moderation of) have been pretty relaxed for ages - stuff is allowed on here nowadays that would get you an instant permanent ban on some other forums.

Nip over to Reddit and take a pop at the "redditors", see how well that goes down.

Not just that, but that thread was created after a different set of interactions that happened on the forums a day two prior.

In the interest of transparency, there were two actions that happened on that thread:

- The thread was moved to the Rants forum as it was a rant that didn't really provide constructive feedback. This was simply a housekeeping measure.
- A post was quoted and the following response was made to the author of that post verbatim:

. That post was subsequently hidden for flaming.

To me, it seems very ironic to claim that FMods are the reason that the forums went downhill and are being closed while also breaking other rules. In the case of flaming others, that isn't just a RuneScape Forums rule, its also a rule on the RS Subreddit, which reads:

No trolling or flaming.
Do not flame, troll, or harass users on this subreddit. Attempting to annoy, troll, harass, or otherwise participate in bad faith, will result in your content being removed.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Personal attacks and other forms of harassment

Inciting negative reaction

Off-topic comments derailing discussion

All users are expected to behave in a polite and considerate manner.


FMods get a lot of flack - sure there have been the questionable decision or action every once in a while (but you're going to get that no matter what platform you're on, and I can genuinely say that when one of those happens the team does a review and learns from it) but a lot of the blame that FMods get isn't always justified.

The fact that youre still moving threads with 3 days left is exactly my point.

How low is your IQ is a valid question. I dont use Leddit because it's filled with the same shitty people moderating it as here. Echochamber low IQ losers imposing their opinions on everyone. Twitter & /vg/ are the only good places to go because you have no power to shut down the truth.

So coming back just to bitch seems rather to border the imbecilic. Perhaps it would be a good game for forum games. What's your IQ level? Shame there would be no capacity for verification.

Oh the irony of this, and similar, thread.

FMods only exist because of rule breakers. If rule breaking didn't happen, there would be nothing for you to complain about.

It's like blaming the police for arresting you as you're caught red handed walking out of a bank with a briefcase full of money you have just stolen.

Moderators have never been the problem. It's either the rules in place or those who break those rules that have always been the problem.
