I see no benefits to having toxic players return, just so they can draw attention to themselves by complaining more.

Those so called "toxic" players pay money to the company that could possibly use those funds for something beneficial for all players.

LOL so it that the angle? Target complainers to save the company? It's such a broken angle that I believe it. It would actually explain some things.

I mean, anyone can look at Reddit and see how that has unfolded over the last month or so. I've also been seeing references to grouping players in order to sort their feedback.

All that matters is the product. If their methods are successful I won't question them. BUT when we have a situation like combat and they are sitting on a broken system like kings on a throne then I ask questions.

When the answers are that bad it's a bit of a problem. Why? You are favoring a small portion of the player base because of personal reasons, the smaller community.

They seem to be doubling down on that formula and I hope it works out. But the folks 'in the middle' will decide that. They don't care about complaints or praise, they care about how others are being treated for speaking up. That's a viewpoint that often gets missed, until it bites one in the hindquarters.

I am amazed that nobody on their end sees it and corrects it. Maybe it's a language problem, I have noticed some difficulty in translating English to American. Whatever that means.

Yeah nobody is quitting RS because of some person ranting in a hidden Rants forum section lmao

That may be a contributing factor, but nobody is simply up and dropping their subscription because of toxicity. Heck I'd argue that's mostly what (OS at least) RS is about in various other communities.

Well, it would be a good idea to avoid that. Such as the built-in response to complaints. That's toxicity.

It's instigation and I fell for that at times. The thing is, that behavior is being associated directly to the game. Nobody makes that direct link to a complaint. It could be true, but folks can always look for themselves and have their own opinion.

No change in behavior over years. Seems like it could be a pattern.
