You've found a quote from a moderator that started at the company 12 years after it's existence, and currently isn't even employed at Jagex.

Telcis, you've been searching for a way to win this argument for weeks. You should just accept the fact that you'll only win over those that don't have an affiliation or knowledge with the game.

So by "Jagex denied me this request", just so we're clear, you mean you emailed SOMEONE or something and they just never got back to you, right?
Or do you mean they LITERALLY told you personally and directly that they were unwilling to allow someone else to pay for them to maintain their servers?

To anyone who may or may not know, OP is one of the first few players to create an account on Runescape alongside other well known early veterans including Lightning, Rab and Master.

Anyways Rob, I'm 100% with you, it's complete nonsense for Jagex to have removed RS classic, the first ever version of the game we have grown to love (or used to love). This could be the reality for RS3 once the game is left with little to no players remaining, all those hard work and hard earned xp will be gone to waste.

Yet it isnt.

You lot dont seem to grasp the issue here that it was full of bots and unfixable glitches/bugs and just want to play it regardless.

Well sad to say but thats bad for business and thus was shut down.
