You can, really. It's called deflation. Which would have been a better solution than controlling an issue that will never resolve itself.

I never said a 10% Tax. There are far better ways to encourage money sinks.

I know right, I was happy when they put the buy bank slots with cash thing.
They said at the beginning that it would cost about 1-10m to get all slots.
That would be an improvement for free to play and even members with a big bank could make use of it.

Now they implented it, all slots cost: 888m (888,000,000gp)
The only people who can make use of that are already in the end game, did already everything that there is to do and don't need this at all.

So in the end you implented a good idea but no one who can make use of it makes use of it, and why? because f2p don't have 0.8b, maybe?

A tax rate woulda be a good idea if only they did this at the beginning.
Now it is another cheap solution for inflation, but inflation doesn't go away.
Only the people at end game gear can buy endgame gear, and everyone in between can't afford it.
Long story short, the rich get richer and the poor, well screw them, #jagex. Sometimes people think they know, but do they really?

If jaqex took half a second of their time to accurately do something about the real world tradimg issues witch would be very very easy to do at this point. But instead they will continue to mask that issue and bandaid the problem by screwing any and all players. It's absolutely astonishing that anybody wants to play this game if we all banded together with a class action suit we could actually get jaqex to do something instead of screw us. We have strength over these nerds they need us to continue this bunk game if we use our power against them we will get results

Just charge 2% more..Or sell Manually..We have a rediculous amount of Gold in Game so I'm fine with it. Though I have to say If they are going to add a tax to get rid of GP in game They should probably stop adding 50-100m Gold prizes for TH and what not..
