Okay, by people you mean a few because anyone who even knows about leagues is most likely playing OSRS not RS3. Anyone else that is on RS3 that wanted something like leagues is either a content developer and or a dev working at RS3.

Let me break this down in reality, instead of pointing at leagues and OSRS.

FSW - You create a new account, and pretty much afk the entire time with one goal, and one goal only, which is to get the MTX items.


Thats it............. Soooooooo I would say the people who really wanted this was Jagex who could potentially milk the RS3 community for extra membership fees.

I don't think anyone was breaking a sweat requesting to make an entire new account for a MTX item.


Dumb is an understatement, especially with how much this game has dwindled content wise.



BTW 10-15k players who played on multiple accounts is not a successful situation, it might be for RS3 because it's just bad, very bad. To make matters worse, the main game itself was completely dead the entire time, the game is already dead and this most certainly did not help.

Again, dumb is an understatement, and for Jagex to try and spotlight it as a success made it even dumber.


Somehow we have a worse game, and we are even trying to mimick OSRS in the most degrading way......... by being conformed into a cash cow. andddddd it's called RS3.

thats 100% not true lmao

i knew of leagues from youtube before i played osrs. same with many other people.

and even for the people that didnt know of leagues. they were able to play fsw and many of them did. and enjoyed it = successful

doesnt matter on how many people wanted it or even knew of leagues. i was just suing that as a small example of people wanting it lol

? mtx items? you didnt play fsw did you cause its clear from these 2 statements you have no idea what you are talking about lol.
mtx was turned off for the first half of fsw, the entire competition was no mtx. and was limited to 1 bond per week.

For example, FSW is amazing BECAUSE............. you should be leading with this.


MTX, MTX meaning the cosmetic capes, I am extremely surprised you didn't catch onto that as capes and halos were the main objectives for FSW and they are pretty much considered MTX items. Sorry if I offended your capes.

Look, Jimmy bob went to the zoo and saw a sign that said leagues and loved it forever.

Yeah this stuff means nothing without some actual passion explaining in detail and examples.

Let's see that *GROWTH* that has still yet to have happened from this *crazy* FSW event that has been going on for 6 months. The only thing that grew a little were Jagex's pockets.

I surely loved seeing the passion throughout the RS3 community towards FSW rofllllllllllllllll.

Go look at the love from the community on Jagex's discord on their news posts regarding FSW. To save you time it was about 100-1, 100 being people didn't like it and 1 person gave it a thumbs up.

I had more people following me before a castle wars game transformed as sheep and imps 15 years ago than I've seen people compliment FSW.

Bossing is known to be the best gp/hr activity and it's gold generated from nothing.

If you kill a monster in rs3 and it drops 50k gold/items, then 50k coins are generated from nothing.

Gathering skills generate gold from nothing too, but there's no way one can constantly generate millions in a few seconds by training gathering skills.

So the problem with RS economy is the gold generated by pvmers.

Taxing ge transactions is not a solution.
reduced pvmers risks should be compensated by reduced monsters drops.

By reducing death cost, bossing is becoming even easier and more gold will be introduced in the game, while skillers will become poorer and poorer.

I hate this update Jagex.

#1 is alch machines being 92b per day 45% of gp per day gain

where as bossing is 14b and 9.5b per day, totalling 13.5b 12% of gp per day.

so its really far off lol

oh and what is put in the alch machines?
a fe salvages form pvm., but its mainly dun dun dunnnn!!!!!! bstaffs from crafting, dragonhide armour from crafting, d stone jewellery from crafting!!!

i asked you why you thought it was dumb. and im still waiting for actual reasoning on that. so far youve shown you dont know what fsw was. as you seem to be think a goal was mtx?

if you think fsw was dumb as your own personal opinion, then awesome. but i asked for reasoning, and what you gave didnt even fit what fsw was. so it seems you were mistaken and held a dislike on something through bad information that wasnt correct. which is a shame as you may have enjoyed it if you played it. but instead you fixated on that wrong information

I'm glad they chose to roll it out just as FSW accounts got transferred to main-game, since that was a concern some had (that the influx of cash and items would rock the boat), not that it would, and I don't think this 2% tax will either. Still.

Don't worry! You'll have something else to complain about in a few weeks. The only thing I see changing is merching items with small margins, but even that will balance itself out within a few weeks. As someone else pointed out, it's a convenience fee of using the G/E. Feel good that you're helping curb inflation.

Only legit complaint I have about the update is the G/E is a bit clunky / laggy for me now. Bob says:
A bank PIN will keep your items secure.
Always check the second trade screen.
Never trade in the Wilderness!
Keep your computer keylogger-free and virus scanned.
Never give your password out to anyone.

"Convenience fees" ought to be levied for the purpose of assisting to pay maintenance costs. It makes no sense for there to be a "convenience fee" because GP is not required to maintain the GE. Real money is required to maintain the GE because Jagex is in charge of maintaining it. Jagex accepts real money as payment, not GP. Therefore it makes no sense for there to be a "convenience fee".

I know what FSW is, and I know what you get out of it. It isn't rocket science and you really hurt yourself here by trying to bash someone else's opinion. Did you want more talk about your AFK rankings? my bad lol

By the way you started the conversation, I gave my opinion to the thread creator.

All of my posts are productive, on point and are towards a greater good, yours are only to deflect truth that someone else is trying to show, nothing more.
