25th December now Jagex and this last server outage has not been addressed.

I actually get the feeling now that you are lightweights in the gaming world. Events and circumstances are beginning to overcome you so you are now playing the see no evil hear no evil speak no evil three monkeys unwise tactic.

lol Any business that goes down that road always fails.

When your grubby servers dont work yet again, and the game crashes yet again, fix it! and keep us in the loop!

somehow.

denying the facts and publishing fiction seems to be the way forward for some ...

so it is up to me an my fellow honest gamers to keep publishing the facts ....

Two game crashes now Jagex! and only one reimbursement made for the first crash!

Nothing for the second one.

Your fault both times now!

:)

Pay up!

Why should there be compensation? The game went down for a few hours. Other games go down for a few hours far more often.

Jagex are based in a country where sue culture is not prevalent. Everyone lives by the mantra that when something goes wrong, so long as it gets fixed, we'll take it as one of those things, knowing that one day something may go wrong for us and the understanding will be reciprocated. It exists in extreme circumstances only. A server for an entertainment system going down for a few hours probably doesn't even make it onto the scale.

As it happens, Jagex have given us very fair compensation already. They did not have to do this. They fixed the issue in a reasonable amount of time, and everyone was back online within 24 hours.

"Why should there be compensation? "

This is probably a question for Jagex. Specifically the mod who said they were looking into it during the last livestream.

In this case there was an unexpected rollback after players were encouraged to stay in-game as normal. Apparently it started as a login failure, but the actual game was still online.

The reason for a rollback is unclear, and unimaginable. Waiting on answers.

I don't expect compensation when they do maintenance to their game. It's to keep the game alive, working and kicking you know how much work went into this game. How much coding and switching stuff around to make stuff function? tbh if they do.. cool.. if they don't cool.. It's not expected though. Making sure the game works right, making sure things are going smoothly 80% of the time is perfect/good for me. I don't think trying to demand or force compensation though just because you didn't get to play awhile is a good idea. If they do it as a random gift cool.. - Just me, and I'm just trying to find my way in life.
