Daily Challenge Reward Box: The reward box will contain 6 items (3 for F2P Players) generated from the Daily Challenges drop table from the week that players were impacted. This one off box will be gifted automatically the first time you login between December 5th 2022 and January 1st 2023.


There is a home page article. A 5 step process to redeem the 2 days membership. Too much effort.

The good thing is nobody will be asking for compensation in the future. They done cleared that idea with a bulldozer.

Regular membership is beyond useless to me. I guess it is a marketing strategy INSTEAD, giving everyone 2 days.

Big whoop. Not redeeming it. I would prefer my normal membership to be reduced in some fair way. It's a nuisance, leading to the shared sense of impending doom since so many people are asking what happened to my:

1. bank space
2. VIP status
3. monthly reward 'drop'
4. extra key
5. whatever else is in there

Adding on to this, it's pretty telling that they only thought to reimburse from their side, and not ours. Meaning, they have no regard for our time lost. Of what we had planned or would have accomplished on that day.

Whatever they decided to give had zero cost to them, so that is not even part of the equation. It just shows how they don't appreciate anything about us other than our credit card number.

It's really a sad situation. Over on Reddit folks are tripping over themselves simply for having their existence acknowledged.

Like hey down there, we hear you. Nevermind that we give away tons of valuable prizes in off-site promos, y'all are in our kingdom.

When the king of Runescape hears that the people are revolting, he increases the monthly soap ration.

Apology? They gave a reason for the lockout and no apology.

Check the 01 Dec runescape front page update and post up the word "apology!"

But they posted this ... "we've been modernising our systems"

Which is what ive been saying for ages ... Old and outdated.

Duh, obviously - for example in the United States, in several European countries and elsewhere.

My point being that one crashed, and there are several, but Jagex have nothing in place to stop similar crashes happening in all or any of them too. (as they have admitted... "we've been modernising our systems" ... their words!)

By definition, you cannot assess something that is unpredictable and has not happened yet.

Yes you can! Risk assessments are carried out in workplaces all the time. And most importantly, the usually happen after something like this has gone wrong, TO ENSURE THEY DO NOT HAPPEN AGAIN.

Jagex lost a shitload of money because they lost their now and forever dependancy on ...

pure and simple. this game is not about gamers, not about gameplay, its about mtx

in that one day they lost mega thousands of cash, and reddit had it sussed the very instant it happened.

Don't for one minute think this game is about the gamer.

mtx is what they care about.

Outdated servers are not being replaced because they care about the gamer. Myself and others have complained for years about shite servers and slow and crashing gameplay BECAUSE JAGEX USE ROTTEN SERVERS AND DO NOT LISTEN TO US WHEN WE SAY THEY ARE SHITE.

It's because they are losing mtx money when a server goes bang and the mtx stops.

A server going down isnt about you losing your connection and not being able to log in and chop trees lmfao its about you not being able to log in and make mtx's

And when that costs. they are forced into replacing cheap nasty and rotten outdated servers with ones that will guarantee the future cash flow ...
