General Suggestions
-The Game Info page and Beginners’ Guide are very similar. To prevent confusion and eliminate redundancy, I recommend consolidating these two pages.

-The introduction summarizes RuneScape’s key features fairly well
-Appealing to popularity comes across as insincere and may deter some players
-Citing 200 million registered users is disingenuous, as we know that most of those accounts have been bots. Simplifying this to “millions of adventurers” would be better

A Guide to Skills
-No adjustment needed

A Guide to Quests
-Consider making a separate page for quests, similar to the ones for skills and combat. This would include:
* How to start quests
* What to expect during a quest (e.g. lore, exploration, diplomacy, puzzles, combat)
* Rewards
* Recommended quests for beginners, including the four mentioned in the current Beginners’ Guide

A Guide to Combat
-No adjustment needed

A Guide to the World
-Consider making a separate page with the following info:
* Names and relative locations of major kingdoms/settlements/geographic features (e.g. Asgarnia, Misthalin, Kharidian Lands, River Lum, Ice Mountain, etc)
* Main points of interest (e.g. Artisans’ Workshop in Falador, Grand Exchange in Varrock)
* Background information (e.g. Lumbridge is a town for newcomers, Falador for Mining/Smithing, Varrock for seeking fame and fortune)
* Narrative/historical context (e.g. Burthorpe is fending off invading trolls from the north)

-It is not necessary for new players to purchase membership early on, nor is it reasonable to expect them to do so. This topic should therefore be listed last, after the more relevant information about quests, combat, skills, and other content
-As the Upgrades & Extras section of the Game Info page already links to more comprehensive information about membership, consider merging the two sections

Quests
-The currently listed quests are excellent introductions to questing
- Missing, Presumed Death is incorrectly listed as members’ only
-Consider adding Rune Mysteries and Stolen Hearts to the list

Beginners’ Guide , continued ( link )

Combat
-The abandoned mine in Burthorpe is generic and doesn’t showcase RuneScape’s unique appeal
* As of the combat rebalance released with Necromancy, low-level mobs are no longer as essential for combat training as they were previously
* The Lumbridge Catacombs are similar to the abandoned mine and offer more interest while also introducing questing
* Allowing F2P access to the first half of Taverley Dungeon (up to but not including the blue dragons) would provide a more meaningful combat challenge in the Burthorpe/Taverley area
-Slayer and Pest Control should be omitted unless and until they become F2P

Non Combat and Support Skills
-While the Nexus is arguably the best F2P method for Prayer training, it is limited and very slow. The game would benefit from a more long-term F2P Prayer training method
* This could be as simple as allowing all regular altars to function as the oak altar from the POH chapel room, with the corresponding +50% xp boost
* Other options include making the Wilderness Chaos Altar F2P (potentially with an xp nerf) and/or adding a permanent version of the dancing platform activity from the Spring Fayre
-The Lumbridge Thieves’ Guild and Summoning should not be included in the Beginners’ Guide , as these are both P2P

The Game Guide is more or less obsolete, and has been replaced by the official Runescape Wiki, to which Jagex Staff contribute.

As such, updating the Game Guide on the RS website is unlikely to be seen as a priority.

As such, updating the Game Guide on the RS website is unlikely to be seen as a priority. Do you not think there is value in a broad and concise overview of game concepts, specifically for new players?
