I have at times used the forum support section and can't grumble, sometimes i have been helped and sometimes their help they tried to use to help me "read that twice, you will get it then lol" didn't help.

As for the social media side of Jagex Support "Twitter", i have used them many many times in the last 7 years and 4 months and they have always been brilliant.

The first topic got me quite a bit of information followed by a link to a message form.
The second topic resulted in "Try rephrasing your issue."
Ask about appealing a ban and "One of my human friends will...."

So, not a real JMod but a pretty good effort.

That's very true, in today's world of Internet 'chat-services' many, if not all, startup as being chatbots as a filter to narrow down the issue to its core and to me there's no doubt that behind these filtering chatbots, Jagex/JMods eventually will monitor all (as JMods did in the past - Community Management Team), monitoring and intercept when necessary to help The RuneScape Community further up the road of Player Support.

This System just recently in place, over time will be build-up and adjusted, inbetween your Community Helper work still desperately needed in the Community Led Forums.
Many of that community helper work does contribute to improving this chat-service and fine-tune it overall.

A month ago give or take. After mailing back and forth with the support team they were able to confirm that I am the original owner of the account I tried to recover. My first ever created Runescape account.

Despite what other people say about the support team I think they are doing a wonderful job when it comes to handing out assistance. Keep up the good work!


I extremely agree with you here. The Support Team does an extremely impressive job and have very good communication. I have no idea why people say otherwise. I believe the attention span as generations passes are wearying very thin.

When I was younger, they assisted me with questions dealing with buttons on mouses (because I was scared that binding keys on mouses were considered against the rules of macroing, but they told me about the 1-to-1 rule.)
