I, Kat Stryke, on behalf of myself and everyone else who values the RSOF, ask that Jagex does not remove the forums.
I very much enjoy sharing details of my character's backstory and her progress in her Diary over in the Goals & Achievements subforum, which I have been doing for nearly three years now - and I WILL NOT be participating on those over-hyped social media cesspools!
Save Kat's Diary! Save the RSOF!
I've been putting out fire with gasoline!
I, Thesims201, ask that Jagex don't remove the forums.
200m Dunge, Rc, Mage and invention accomplished, + 120 Constitution/Slayer/Range/Summoning/Woodcutting/Mining/Defence/Strength and 110m fishing, got comp/MQC and 200m Fishing/Woodcutting/Mining as well as 120 herb/Farming/Cooking most 120s just Agility, Theiving, Hunter and Prayer left
I, T r y p t, ask that Jagex please remove the forums. This worthless company does not deserve to have its own self-hosted social media with a codebase they control. Instead they should become dependent on third-party companies for all their communications with players. They deserve such a fate for being ran by morons.
I, Saphira3883, of Heavenly Fire, ask that Jagex not remove the forums.
The forums are a much better place to look for a clan than the discords and social media areas are, and not all of us want to have to make a separate social media account and post to it. It provides an area with more to display for clans than the RS discord or other areas can do. Most clan recruitment areas are bound to one small post or an image where many of us have laid out nice about us sections and a lot of our members and guests tell us they've learned about us from the forums and forum bumping... not discord or other areas. It's also fun to see your clan members help bump your specific forum.
Many new and returning players turn to the forums first when looking for a clan as not everyone has discord, or has discord yet until the clan they join tells them about it.
