Liebster, please review section 4.2.

Only include items that are 'confirmed' true and correct by the official article about fmods and from the runescape wiki.

I don't know where you sourced the other details you posted there, but I will not confirm nor deny those either. Better stick with information that is available publicly. If it was mentioned by a Jmod here in RSOF, include a direct quote from her/him.

This information is available publicly. It was posted on that guide:

http://services.runescape.com/m=forum_de/l=1/c=oeM9-fTYrgU/forums.ws?85,86,45,103462,20,554715#20

I know it is in German. But Schmiddle created this guide when Mod Argus was around and last updated it during a time when he was Fmod. Here's one of his posts around the time when he last edited that post:

http://services.runescape.com/m=forum_de/l=1/c=oeM9-fTYrgU/forums.ws?97,98,29,111899

I see no reason why Schmiddle would have lied. Plus guides have to be reviewed by the German Fmod team before they can be moved to the guides forum (you can not create threads there). This means the basic guide was okay. The edited version from which I have been taken the information was edited while Schmiddle was FMod. This makes it a trustworthy source.

All I can not tell is if the information is partly outdated. Because some of the information of his thread (mainly regarding Pmods) was outdated the thread has been closed. Except for the red background of hidden posts (forums update?!), I believe everything I mentioned should be up to date.

So I should have neither published confidential information nor false information. I'll mark some things as possibly outdated :) .

Cheers

Actually no, in the case of an information is being classified - No Fmod can declassify it.

Only Jagex can declassify it, and anything you hear beyond what the public information provided is hearsay. I will not stop you from publishing that information, but you need to be honest - mark it as 'unverified info'.

"Mum? Loulou is annoying and bullying me! Can I get her Christmas presents until she stops?"

- "Ohh honey, stay kind. And Loulou is not bullying you, she's just speaking her mind"

You heard my mum ^_^ . I don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable with my guide so I'll do the changes you suggested. But I'll need your help: Which information shall I mark as unverified? I honestly don't know what Jagex has published over the years and what not. You need to know I haven't been around here for a while and before I was last around I also haven't been around for a long time, And RSWiki is not a trustworthy source. Everyone can edit it and I could even add my information there as verified since I have an, in my eyes, trustworthy source.

So just go ahead and tell me: What shall I mark as unverified?

You may compare your article here: https://runescape.wiki/w/Forum_Moderator

Anything that is not consistent with it, you may mark as 'unverified'. That way, you leave the judgement call for the reader to believe it or not.

I will not point it out one-by-one, as I don't want to get quoted as declassifying classified information or classifying a declassified info. ;)

Trying to find where I have a screenshot of Mod Kalaya tweeting a picture of the tools that FMods have on Twitter one time... Looked almost everywhere and can't find it, but I have a lot of images to look through so will keep this post updated and add it here if I can find it.

Edit: I remember her shortly deleting the tweet afterwards when someone brought it up, but I still managed to get the screenshot before she did - so that's technically still JMod confirmation? ;) :P

Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts.
