Unfortunately, sea lioning, thread derailment, and general bad-faith acting aren't explicitly against the Code of Conduct (either that, or the rules are enforced as well as... some metaphor illustrating how poorly they're enforced). That means we get the odd user who acts like a dick without technically violating the CoC. So if you want something done about it you have to take matters into your own hands.

1. Install uBlock Origin. Other ad-blockers that use the same filter syntax will work too, but I recommend uBlock.

2. Go to your filters: click the red shield on your toolbar, then the gears, then the "My Filters" tab.

3. Drink some water.

4. Add this line:

secure.runescape.com##article.forum-post:has([data-displayname="
Montinevvra
"])

Replace
Montinevvra
with the user's name (Don't block me. All my posts are great.). Case sensitive. If their name has a space, replace it with "
%A0
".

If you're not sure if you're getting the name right, find one of their posts, right click their name, select "inspect". Look for the line that says
<h3 class="post-avatar__name" data-displayname="
Montinevvra
">
(it should be right above the one that's highlighted).

5. Enjoy slightly less toxic forums.

Also, can we get a cute mascot to represent the Forum CoC? I'm thinking it should be a rooster.

Noice, now it'll just become an echo-chamber.

I get it ppl can be annoying, but theres going to be times when you can either not read what ppl say or if they are breaking rules, report them.

Very neat and tidy solution when you feel that someone really, really needs a full, permanent ignore. 10/10.

Someone created that a while back think it was a person named HMM.

Had the rest copied down

1. To block posts made by a specific user appearing:

runescape.com#?#article.forum-post:-abp-has(> div > h3 > a:-abp-contains(/^USERNAME
$/))

2. To block any threads made by a user

runescape.com#?#article.thread-plate:-abp-has(> a > div > p:-abp-contains(/^created.by.USERNAME$/))

3. You can properly hide hidden posts with

runescape.com##article.forum-post--hide-shunt

(Replace USERNAME with persons... uh username)
