Very true, indeed! Is it really late if it's only just been acknowledged on this thread? There's the question of the year.. LOL

I've been trying to find the forum that allows me to request help in trying to change the title of my forum post. All the forum help are locked and will not allow me to make a post. Would anyone be able to direct me in the correct area that would be very appreciated.

Ive Noticed in Runescape there is alot of people scamming at the g.e.
Im not sure if this is in the right forum or not but i was thinking,

Maybe Flagging up these people who may be scammers on the minimap, for example a red dot. These people who have been reported should a red dot or some kind of flag in the game to warn other players to be cautious when trading with them.

Its not fair in the community to see this happen to players, maybe something like this in place
may help people not to be scammed in the future.

The Existing Game Content forum (for RS3), or Old School Content Suggestions (for OSRS), would be the best for suggestions of things in-game. W&F is for the website specifically, not the game.

Identifying them to others might present a problem, as people could easily abuse it to falsely label someone as being a bad person. Red dots wouldn't work though, cause that's for items dropped on the ground, and red flag is your current waypoint marker.

It would probably work out better if we educate people on avoiding the scam and to not fall for it. Would more directly impact and individual, and give them information to go with other than just an identifier with zero explanation. Then we report those people to Jagex through the in-game report tool, and they can remove the player from the game if they are actually scamming.
Can I turn in a paper without citing all sources?
