How very odd.
Does the number value mean that the account no longer exists?
More like a reset. Maybe they're fiddling around with the account permissions?

I did notice this thread yesterday, New JMods coming through! Qfc 254-255-602-66042519 which may kinda sorta explain that someone was indeed utilizing the account permission settings yesterday.
It seems to me a bit extreme that someone would hide A Q&A with our purple LMods? Qfc 278-279-966-65997258 though because of the information contained in the New Jmods coming through thread.
There is a connection between the two threads in relationship to 'permission settings' since the last posts on the A Q&A with our purple LMods thread mentioned the Lmods were showing a number value for names.
Not sure why the mention of that or a change in status, the elevation of Lmods to Jmods that was implied on the New Jmods coming through thread would warrant a thread to be hidden though.
Not sure what purpose it serves the forum community by hiding a thread that broke no rules. Quite concerning IMO.

"I wonder why only some of them have the numbers then but others have retained their name (on the Introductions thread)."
@Fifi La Frou, perhaps an internal faux pas when someone was utilizing the account permission settings?
Oh right I see. Having read that thread seems there's to be more LMods than before and they'll have all the powers of a JMod. Even though they are not JMods.
I assume anyone wishing interaction with a Community JMod will have to go to third party social media .... or join their FC, or whatever it is one does to engage with JMods. Their withdrawal from the RSOF seems now to be complete.

@FiFi La Frou, the thread tends to imply that the new Jmod who will be helping the CM team deliver a better forum experience is an employee who works in player support. 'Keywords' does not appear to have posted to the thread yet. I believe we will see this person posting as a goldie.
Seems kinda weird that the way the post is written that it makes it appear that this person will be working two jobs. Not sure how much focus this person can give to the forums if they are working two jobs when the folks who are working in CM who are only working one job can't seem too...
It also appears that some of the previous Lmods may have bitten the dust so to speak, (perhaps the reason for the number value still showing on those accounts) & new Lmods have been recruited to take their place.
Tbh, as customers of Jagex we still don't know what company these "Lmods" hail from. I suspect the Lmod program is currently being utilized outside of it original intent & they may not hail from any Jagex partner company at all. I am sure the truth will come out about this soon enough. It is too bad that Jagex can not be transparent about this. Makes one wonder what Jagex is hiding by not being transparent...

I wonder if it is just an agency and they ask for people with experience of playing runescape and also experience of community management etc if the agency has thousands of people on their books I'm sure there will be some who will be close enough to fit the bill.
I rather read it that "Keywords" is not a person, a new JMod, but rather an entity, as in an agency or organisation, and that this organisation is already supplying services (and/or people) to Jagex in other areas.
In this latest case, "Keywords" would be supplying new people to undertake JMod duties but without those people actually being Jagex employees, rather they are more of the externally-employed purple L-Mod type workers.
Why would new JMods, directly employed by Jagex, be using temporary LMod accounts. Traditionally, new JMods are immediately given their own specifically JMod account, not some interim make-do.
The whole post is worded very ambiguously. So much so one could almost suspect Jagex were being deliberately mealymouthed about the whole project.
