Hi Krisikka,

Because your name was changed, you might want to check both your account status for it as well as finding out if it is still logging in. If anything has happened under the hand of Jagex such as a ban, they will contact you via your message centre. If you have been hacked, then I would suggest sending a ticket to the Account Help Team via the address below: (take out the spaces and replace * with _)

You might also want to contact Jagex via their support twitter account for more immediate help :) @JagexSupport


p.s I would advise that you remove your log in name from the post if it is the one you use to log in with as it could carry security risks ;)

Ok, I have been on the websight for over a half hour searching for a way to contact you guys directly about name changes. I can't seem to find a way to send you guys a simple message. Are the forums the only way to get in contact?
If it is I think it would be a good idea to set up a simple ticket system considering you have a "24/7 support team" which I can't find a way to contact.
Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give me!

Hmmm Steph I have been searching for the same thing. Does the address in my above post work though for you? They really should make the ticket system more obvious. I will post more on this later after a reply from you :) ....

Hey Step*OfxDub,

I know the pain about finding things on the Runescape Website. To find a way to contact Jagex directly about Runescape Display names follow these steps:

- Go to any Runescape page
- Locate the Support button in the top right hand corner of the Webpage. Note: Be sure you are scrolled all the way to the top of the page.
- Once you've located the Support button hover over it and a drop down menu will appear, locate Customer Support and click it, it will redirect you to a page asking you what you're issue is.
- Once on the new page locate Account Help , click it and you will then be redirected to another page.
- Once on the new page locate the Choose from the options below , locate your issue and select it. Then a Subcategory will appear and click it. In your case the main category is Display Names .

The Subcategory gives you two options, Changing Display Name and My name was changed by a hijacker the only way to the information to contact Jagex directly is under Hijacker, but if you were not Hijacked I would advise against contacting them directly unless you have a more direct issue with name changing.

But the email to contact them about Name Changes is:

Fix Login

Hey Jagex,
Please Please Please fix the website login, I'm one of those people that constantly multi-task, I want to be able to open 20 forum threads and read through them, I then would like to be able to reply to each but at the moment all I'm ever confronted with is the need to login yet again for each new tab etc. Logging into the website just doesn't persist nearly long enough nor well enough and it's meant to be something basic.

If I click an option to remember my login, why not remember it either until I remove my logins from my browser or after say a 30 day period? At the moment the forums especially are just hellish to use, I even had to login again just to post this.

This isn't a particularly difficult issue to fix, as almost every website I've ever used has at least got this much down. Now after all this I may aswell say at the same time that RS is great and I support ironman mode!
