We are probably going to see something similar to last year. They will only tell the theme of this year's content like the Shadows and Erebus but they won't tell us the stories. They are also likely only going to tell us there will be skilling, combat, quests etc revolving around the next story arc but like 2021, they won't tell us what skills, what new bosses. So we probably will know something like when they release what content (e.g. 4 fronts in the EGW saga) but we will have to wait until a month or so before the actual release date to know what's coming next.

Probably not, and honestly I'm okay with that. RuneFest has become kind of infamous for how many promised releases either don't come out on time (ie. within the year) or get shelved entirely. Jagex seems to have realized that, too; in the past two-ish years they've only been announcing releases that they know with absolute certainty are going to come out within the next couple of weeks/months (it's also one of the reasons they scrapped the monthly teasers).

They might toss us a few vague bones and then, and we already know that the Elder God Wars are still ongoing, but beyond that I don't expect to get a major "year ahead" reveal.

Perhaps you should say RS3 seems to have realized that blah blah blah... not Jagex.

I'll rather see RS3 continues to release just enough information like next year will be whatever theme or there will be an XXL project instead of outright promising "the best ever content (TM) Elder God War Dungeon" and Archaeology being released in whatever month in some kind of special "Summit (TM)".

We are going to have significant graphics update. That we have been told in the Q&A livestream. They are also hiring many artists and animators. That supports what they said.

We were 2/3 through the EGW saga (as of December), so expect it takes 2 months to complete the EGW story arc and that will take us to the end of February. Then a new story arc will starts probably from March onward, perhaps to the end of 2022.

I was just going to suggest an overhaul for the places that have yet to be touched since 2009. like yanville, seers village, oog'loog, ect. i am enjoying the new art style but i feel like it need to be more uniform. Instead of it being assigned to the ninja team, have it be another dedicated team to just adjusting old graphics to the new art style. It will have years of productivity for the game and it wouldn't have a jaring jump. like going from varrock to, barbarian village, to dwarven mine. that's 3 different art styles in the span of 5 min.

My wife jsut started and was curious as to why it's so diffrent and it breaks the imerssion for her. Shes been enjoying OSRS due to the lack of massive changes. and things being more cohearent.
