you didnt do anything wrong, just the forums doesnt recognise an image as text, and when you try to post a blank message you will get the exact same error, so an image alone will still show up blank on the forums
if you write "merry christmas" then it will show up, or any word to just so theres text as well in your post. But you did it spot on
EDIT: i clarified this in the guide since its not mentioned
