I know I'm being stupid but can someone please tell me how I get the picture to somewhere I can use 'browse' from imgur? When I browse I get pointed to my own folders on my PC but I have no idea how I get the picture from the forums in the first place.

Edit: Well, managed to get something to my PC but it was in .png format. It went into imgur ok but can't tell if it's OK on the forum because it automatically hides it. Ah, well, if it hasn't worked, it hasn't worked. No point stressing.

You can either download the picture then upload via browse or right click copy the picture then right click paste in that imgur paste image or url bar.

made a few tests and applied them to the actual post,
however every time i post it the right way (see tests above) the post doesn't get through and give these two phrases:

* Messages posted on this thread will not be visible until a JMod approves them.

* The message contents were missing or invalid.

any idea how to fix this? for some reason the posts do come through in this thread, but not in the actual thread it should be posted.

just to make clear, i'm well aware it's a hiddden thread, but it does show a timestamp of when a post came through, but when posting teh right way it doesn't come though and includes these phrases.

1. Anything you post on a thread that says

"Messages posted in this thread will be automatically hidden until approved by a JMod."

will not be visible to anyone but a Jagex Moderator. However, you are more than welcome to hit the "Preview" button before you post so that you can see what it will look like once it's posted. You are not allowed to edit it once you hit the "Post" button. When and if a Jagex Moderator decides to "approve" it by unhiding the post, then you will have the ability to see it and edit it accordinly.

2. As for your Imgur pictures, as far as I am aware, we are not allowed to post pictures alone in a post. That is, every single time you try to post a link to Imgur by itself on a post, it will give you this message:

"The message contents were missing or invalid."

Try adding any character, namely a period, and you will see that it works. The reason the links worked here is that you added the word "test" to the post. You should try using the "Preview" button with a link that has no other character and with a link that has a period. You will see the difference
