Apparently, forum users now rate so low on the CS totem pole that their concerns can be left to stagnate for well over a month before being addressed.
If those FMR posts were Support tickets, it would be outrageous to leave them so long.
(And please, claiming that it's because there's been too much other work to do is merely saying "everything is more important than the customers" - not a good look.)
This really isn't good enough.

How does it actually work I wonder. Do they review it within a reasonable amount of work days, or do they review them all at once and then respond immediately after.
Either way, while I respect it may be due to CM shortage/harsh workload, I agree the inactivity needs addressing.
I still see my post is the latest post made in there - i thought i was posting to forum help ..

I know the original plan was to get the purple CM mods set up with gold JMod accounts to work that queue - and the CM mods are on every day.
My question is: If there is too much red tape to get JMod accounts for them because of the way the security system works (which is fine, I respect the security measures on JMod accounts), could the web team change the CM permission set to be able to view auto-hidden posts so that they can proceed with actioning FMR? If they're already trusted and vetted to take this responsibility, surely modifying those permissions
should
be an easier goal to accomplish.
I don't think anyone cares what color the post is as long as they're able to have their query reviewed by Jagex or a representative thereof.

To be honest, I really do not know what goes on during their daily shift, but I am sure we can all agree on the fact that it does not take long to review those reports. Now, if they are accumulating, then, of course, it's more work to take care of; however, my main concern is that fact that most reports become invalid if the thread(s) in question fall off the Forums. I'd assume that F-Mods' actions are logged somewhere but that does not help the fact that the person who reported such F-Mod(s) would want to see the thread(s) and/or post(s) that were reported for reference.
As for the LMods taking over FMR, this was their initial intention. If you head over here,
New JMods coming through!
, you will see Mod Cam's post regarding LMods receiving their accounts a week after that post. That was back on September 7th, 2018. It has been two years and almost three months since the initial post there. After that, they kept updating us saying that the J-Mods in charge of setting up their accounts were on vacation and what not and then, they started saying that it was really difficult to set permissions on their accounts.
With that being said, I'm unsure on how "easy" or "difficult" it may be for the Web Team to carry out this task. I too agree that LMods have already proven themselves worthy of the positions they have carried out since they were introduced. For example, CM Nick has been a gem and his activity speaks for itself. I wholeheartedly believe that if CM Nick had the necessary account and permissions, FMR would be reviewed constantly.
All in all, I just wish that FMR were checked more constantly. I do not mind who does it, as long as it's being checked in a timely manner to allow things to run smoothly. Again, I do not know how busy Mod Kari may be, but it would be ideal to have someone who is continuously taking care of FMR to ensure to the community that their concerns are being properly addressed by the powers that be.
Said this before as well about time the support team take over the thread, see no reason why they can't apart from it not being a high enough priority compared with a botting ban appeal...
I don't understand the "lack of time" aspect of the issue. I mean, there isn't a huge flood of FMR reports every day. They slowly trickle in. If you put aside 15 minutes a day to clear out any FMR reports made that day... it wouldn't be such a backlog when you finally decide to address it.
I'm better than you, but that doesn't mean you're not great!

Is this going to appear each time they get busy with other things?
Probably, because when it doesn't get brought up by the community, those delays seem to grow larger and larger.

Also just saying, but its the holiday season, not to mention the way the worlds at atm, so of course things might be a little on the slow side.
Do they shorten the number of hours in the day during the holiday season, or due to covid? Or are you implying that because it's the holiday season, that Jagex employees will be eating more cookies and fruitcake, and may gain a few pounds, slowing their ability to do their job?

So im sure they'll get to it when they can as they have been doing so far.
Yeah, I mean, it's not like they've just abandoned the thread for months and months in the past... oh wait... that's right...

The key problem is that they are ALWAYS "busy with other things" - it's now rare for FMR to be checked more than once every 3-4 weeks.
The current thread was created July 10th, then checked July 16th (~1 week), July 24th (~1 week), Aug. 10th (~2 weeks), Sept. 4th (~3.5 weeks), Sept. 28th (~3.5 weeks) and Oct. 28th (~4 weeks). Since then, nothing (5 weeks). As you can see, the intervals have become longer over time, so the situation is getting worse.
It's discourteous, unprofessional and just not good enough.
